Sometimes DELICIOUS food aren't come from big and famous or international store, small shops like Domie Cake Shop does produced the BEST fruit tarts in HK!!Domie Cake Shop has been opened since... I was a child and until now their quality of food was still very high, from bread to cakes, every single product would never disappoint me! Although it was raining cats and dogs today, I still got out of the car and ran into the shop. As it was around 11am in the morning, there were loads of choices. I chose a box of 12 tarts. One tiramisu, 2 chestnut, 2 mango, 2 strawberry and some mixed fruits ones! I started with the fruit ones, the mango on top was super sweet, maybe because it was one of the seasonal fruit now. The tart itself was super crunchy, there was a strong buttery flavour which you could tell that the ingredients that they use were not "cheap cheap", but have a good standard!! Appreciated~~
The strawberries came next! The sourness of the strawberries combined with the sweetness of the custard really well. Love it ^^In those 5 mixed fruit ones, I prefer the one with mango, strawberry and blueberry as those fruits had a contrasting texture, for instance, the blueberry was the hardness, then the strawberry with some little seeds which formed another layer of texture, mango was last, it was soft and SUPER SWEET !!
Can you imagine I could finish them within 10mins?? But YES YES YES, they were super tasty and you just can't stop having them! IF you are a fans of tarts collection remember to go and try this shop! Highly Recommended!!
