Came here with my relatives after we went grave sweeping for Ching Ming. My aunt chose this place and I think we were all surprised this place exisited.Choi Fook is a large Chinese restaurant chain. But this one seemed to be focused on wedding banquets from the way the layout and decoration was. This pretty looking dim sum is a pork dumpling with a bit of cheese mixed in. The wrapping was crispy and you were supposed to dunk it in the light broth that came with it. The dumpling was sweet in taste with a nice combination with the salty cheese and pork mixture.
This was interesting looking. A deep fried dumpling filled with shrimp and pork meat. The entire dumpling was wrapped in deep fried vermicelli so when I bit into it, all the pieces flew all over the place.
My uncle ordered a number of other items that I neglected to take a photo of as they looked like your typical dim sum variety. Quality of dim sum was very good. I don't think there was one item that wasn't bad at all. Service was alright as it was busy morning dim sum session where majority of the patrons were seniors. So, you basically did serve yourself. Nice to know that this place exists in this area of town for those days when I want to have dim sum with friends.
