We were amazed by the beautiful storefront of Uluru, which is as pretty as Korea's Cafe Yeonnam-dong, also famous for their cartoon style themed cafe. The store was a bit hard to find, as the entrance is facing an alley, instead of the street.We went up the beautifully decorated stairway to the cafe. There is nobody at the entrance, and you need to walk up the stairs to the counter and cafe.We were surprised by how big the cafe is, as it looked like a maze, as the staff led us to our seat. To be
We also ordered the Uluru salad ($88), which has duck breast, chicken breast, egg, and honey balsamic dressing. However, we were not told that they were out of chicken breast until they served us our order, and that they replaced chicken breast with duck breast. It would have been much better if we were told that upon ordering or before being served, such that we would have the choice to pick another item.
Overall, the food was of great quality and presentation, and I loved how beautiful the cafe is designed.
However, during peak lunch hour, the staff were understandably very busy, so the wait for staff's attention was a bit long, and the cafe is too noisy to be enjoyable. I would suggest going at tea hour, as there would be less people, and the atmosphere would be more pleasant.
