Finished my first BodyJam class in SoHo and was starving, but needed to buy something in Causeway Bay and came over for late lunch. Knowing SML has opened for a while, more than a year or so? It's 2pm and lunch set is still available. 3 courses cost $88 + 10%, including either Vegetables and beans soup or Greek Salad; Penne with tuna and mushroom or beef rice; coffee/tea or dessert.
The pasta came earlier than the soup...???? It's not fine dining but the serving sequence is even worse than local small restaurants.
There is no salt, pepper on the table...they better do...because
Soup-tasteless! I don't eat salty or anything too strong taste, but it is tasteless
Penne-like whole wheat one but it's not, meaning, not well cooked yet and it's NOT hot; so dry, I thought I was having ready-to-eat meals at convenient stores. The most yikes thing was, a of 4 cm long spaghetti in the middle after I finished half...looked like left-over...although it maybe just a careless mixed, it supposed not happening in a restaurant like this.
Coffee-tasteless again
Restaurant layout is not bad, quite spacious.
Can't imagine the food quality is that bad here, feel regret of not having lunch somewhere else, but at least, I know I won't come back.
