It really is ‘without dining experience’. I come here usually for lunch to order salads but have come a few times for dinner now and this is the second time I have felt the staff really were here for their last day. I asked for the menu, he said ‘go there’ and pointed over to the till but you could have kindly shown me the menu. I come here usually for lunch to order salads but have come a few times for dinner now and this is the second time I have felt the staff really were here for their last day. I asked for the menu, he said ‘go there’ and pointed over to the till but you could have kindly shown me the menu. When I got ‘there’ the waitress slapped the menu on the table like I just stepped into McDonalds. When I (reluctantly) ordered, I waited for my drink and asked if I could ask for a little more grapefruit as I saw the waiter crush the fruit twice then pour in tea in the ‘handmade’ iced tea. He said ‘no sorry’. I asked again and he said ‘no sorry’. I mean I understand I’m sitting in your lounge section but I still just paid almost $200 to eat in your restaurant instead of going to Cafe de coral. Could you at LEAST crack a smile or appreciate you still have customers? I’ve had a long day, I wanted a NICE dinner by myself but instead I’m sat here waiting for my food in anger wondering WHY I chose to come here instead of McDonald’s for a chicken burger. Unless I get some sort of miracle royal treatment tonight, I shall not be returning nor spend my lunch meetings here.
Finally after the third request the nice waiter changed my drink to a hot water with grapefruit.
