Wanted a bit of sweetness after a long day at work and happened to walk past Sweetology in Festival Walk. Attracted by their simple, girly interior with their white chairs and marble tables. Their menu was interesting and beautiful, featuring waffles, honey toast and sundaes.

Being alone means being limited to smaller desserts, and in this case I chose the Serradura pudding, which is one of my favourite desserts of all time.

The dessert looked STUNNING. I really admire whoever designed the appearance. Layers of biscuit crumbs and cream, topped with chocolate wafer rolls and a scoop of Movenpick ice cream... All in a cute little glass jar on a wooden platter.

However, the dessert itself was a big disappointment. The ice cream was of course, being Movenpick, good. But underneath was the driest Serradura I have ever had. The biscuit crumbs were way too compacted. The cream tasted of nothing. I had no idea what I was eating at all. In my mouth it was just tasteless cream and crumbs. I was left hugely disappointed and angry, especially after the 25 minutes of waiting in a half-empty restaurant.

The Serradura was definitely not the one to try but I hope their waffles and other delights are good.
