I think I’ve been to this place years ago. Last time I was sitting at the counter and the smell from the grill was very strong. This time they changed the setting and perhaps I also sat at the table rather than the counter, there wasn’t a slight charcoal smell in the restaurant at all, which was excellent! Getting the authentic grill without having the smell on my hair and clothing.👍🏻Since I booked a table, they wrote my last name (in English) on a little card with the rest of the text in Jap

Since I booked a table, they wrote my last name (in English) on a little card with the rest of the text in Japanese. A nice touch!
From Monday through Friday, they picked one lunch set to apply discount. The grilled Kurobuta Pork set was on discount for the day and we would like to order that anyway.
We also picked the grilled seasonal fish set from the other menu, which was 鰤魚 that day.
Both proteins were tender and flavourful. Each set had 2 big portions of meat, a miso soup,
together with a sizable salad featuring dried corn, carrot and raspberry and a dessert.
The puff with chocolate cream was yummy, which set a nice finish.
