Have been to Sevva a couple of times for drinks, but every time their service gets on my nerves.Came here tonight for some cake and drinks. Reception was empty when we arrived. And we asked for a table for four and the manager actually asked us to FIND OUR OWN seat?!?!?! DUH!!! We ordered some cocktail and a Marie Antoinette’s Crave, and to be honest, the cake was just average.The pistachio sponge cake layer was quite good but the macaroons on the outside was HARD. I actually think the cakes at Ms. B's Cakery on Gough Street are better....
I am no regular or social elite, but I do expect some professionalism when you are labelling yourself a first class restaurant at such a prime location.
