To be honest, everything in Chew Chew reminds me of ZapJok, another Japanese style cafe and restaurant in Sham Shui Po, which uses wooden furnitures, and eating utensils from a Japanese store in the neighbourhood. Even the food menu is a bit familiar…Nevertheless, you could feel that the owner put a lot of effort and planning in decorating the eatery. The Fried Chicken with IPA Beer Batter was absolutely delicious!!! I could actually taste the sweetness from the beer malt! And of course, nothing can beat freshly fried juicy chicken with crispy skin.
The Mikan Honey Soda was very delightful too, and it went very well with the set. It was just a little bit pricey though…
