Viet Thai is a self-explanatory Vietnamese and Thai restaurant in Fortress Hill, just 5 mins walk from MTR. The restaurant is spacious and decorated with a lot of green elements and furniture. I have chosen a window seat facing the road which I liked a let especially when you are dining alone. After taking a few suggestions from the staff, I have decided to order a salad, a main and a drink as my early dinner. Pomelo & Shrimp Salad ($85)I always like to order this dish when I am going to a Thai
After taking a few suggestions from the staff, I have decided to order a salad, a main and a drink as my early dinner.
Pomelo & Shrimp Salad ($85)
The salad was topped with fried sliced garlic and onions, and dressed with spicy vinegary Thai sauce. Complementing with frseh ingredients, the salad was a great appetising dish before any main courses.
Look at the shrimp below, they were all halved and looked very shiny like glass. It was just cooked through and the colour was almost transparent.
However, the soup was actually a lot milder than I expected. It was spicy however it didn't have a strong seafood taste to it.
Young Coconut ($30)
