On this Saturday, I went to Tai O with my friend. We were thinking to try the nice food around in Tai O. The first thing we would like to try was the seafood in Tai O. Before we entered to this restaurant, we had to buy the seafood from other place first, because this restaurent does not sell the seafood, but we could ask them to cook the seafood for us. We ordered 2 KG of "Lai Liu " Shimp, and two big meat crab.After we entered to this restaurant, we ordered 2 bottle of beers, and one dish of
Before we entered to this restaurant, we had to buy the seafood from other place first, because this restaurent does not sell the seafood, but we could ask them to cook the seafood for us. We ordered 2 KG of "Lai Liu " Shimp, and two big meat crab.
After we entered to this restaurant, we ordered 2 bottle of beers, and one dish of Stirred fried vegetable with Tai O style Salty fish". We asked the cook to prepare the two crabs with Green onioin and Ginger, and those "Lai Liu" shimp must be deep fried with spicy salt.
The "Lai Liu" shimps were very crispy after they deep fried with spicy salt, and the taste of the meat is still there. The spicy salt did not take over the real taste of the "Lai Liu" shimps. The crab with green onion and crabs just made me unforgetable, and the sauce was amazing. The fresh crab meat with such wonderful sauce that gave me appetite, and i must order a big bowl of rice for that. I don't usually finish a bowl of rice on each meal, but I finished the entire bowl of rice without one piece left this time.
The Stirred fried vegetable with Tai O Salty fish was yummy, I can still taste the freshness of the vegetable. It can be better if the size of this dish can be slightly bigger.
Ths service of this restaurant is nice and quick. The waiter is quick, and he is a talkative person. We really enjoy to talk to him, becasue he is very funny. The environment of this restaurant is ok, and I believe they can do better if they can clean up the washroom often. I understand most Chinese enjoy eating more than enjoy using the nice washroom, and it is our unchangable character.
We finished the meal, but we were too full to finished the "Lai Liu" shrimp. We finally packed the leftover "Lai Liu" shimp to home. The "Lai Liu" shrimp was so tasty, how could we waste such wonderful food?
