It was raining as we arrived at this pub in Lan Kwai Fong. The music rendered a jovial air to the place and we ordered the dinner set with credit card discounts. The smoked salmon salad was fresh. The borscht was rich and the garlic bread was golden and crispy. We shared our main courses and both of us loved the thick-cut chips and the cheesy dip. The steak and the prawn were fair. The pasta with salmon and black truffle angel hair was also satisfactory. The desserts were laudable - the molten chocolate cake was baked with a melting core and it was accompanied by quality chocolate ice cream. The coffee was, for once, not the wishy-washy liquor one usually got at cafes - giving this meal a great finish. The staff were quite friendly and proactively helped with tuning down the air-con "as we both look chilly". All in all, this was a very satisfying experience.
