This new restaurant featuring a fusion of Thai and Western cuisine hit Tai Po several weeks ago, and since then the line waiting outside it has barely wavered. (My family waited for as long as 45 minutes before being seated...) The restaurant itself was decorated in a cozy, almost cafe-like style, a.k.a. it's kinda small, and that probably explains why the queue trickled by so slowly. ANYWAY, the food. The dressing is more on the sweet side and I think it compliments the squid and vegetables well. The squid was aromatic and savory, a nice contrast against the sweet salad.
Next up, the appetizer -pork with glutinous rice (豬頸肉糯米飯). The pork was roasted to a decent amount of crispiness, and although I didn't try the glutinous rice I'm pretty sure it was tasty too.
