It’s such an amazing experience dining at the charming new French bistro L'amour. From the moment I walked into the cozy, intimate space with good privacy, I was swept away to the cafes of Paris.
To start the culinary journey, I took a sip of the delicate Foie Gras soup and the lobster bisque cappuccino, both of which were exquisite and bursting with flavor. The crab meat linguine aglio e olio that followed was al dente perfection, coated in a light garlic and olive oil sauce and topped with generous amounts of fresh crab.
For the main course, the pan fried barramundi fillet was cooked to perfection with a crispy skin and flaky white flesh, served alongside mashed vegetables and a beurre blanc sauce. My friend tried the cream Foie gras linguine and raved about the rich, decadent flavors.
We ended the evening by sharing traditional tiramisu, a lovely coffee-soaked treat with layers of chocolate and mascarpone.
With its intimate atmosphere, impeccable service and delectable French cuisine prepared from the finest ingredients, L'amour is an ideal place for a romantic date or special occasion. I look forward to returning again soon to try more of their menu and enjoy another evening of culinary bliss. Overall, I highly recommend this little taste of Paris in Tai Wo.
