Cafe Landmark became THE cafe , a "FASTFOOD" spot. The 22 minutes of indulgence before another late night...
SERVICE
Good, polite and prompt. Nothing memorable, but good enough.
ENVIRONMENT
Clean, bright. Lives up to its name - being the 'cafe' within Landmark (the hub of central)
FOOD
I have tried quite a few dishes from the menu, but my all-time-favourite is, and will probably always be, the Lobster Linguine.
Bring a friend along, head there for dinner and hold an American Express Platinum Card => 50% off. * Ultra-good-value for this very good dish.
(*the discount only applies for dinners, not lunches)
Feeling lazy? Order 'Lobster Linguine without shell'. The chef will do the work for you, and you get an extra 45 seconds of peace and relaxation.
The market has quietened down substantially these days, and I am oh-so-glad to be enjoying longer hours in bed each night. As I walked past (the, thank god, rather unfamiliar) Cafe Landmark to work and off work each day, I (surprisingly or unsurprisingly) actually MISSED the lobster linguine! And so, I picked up my cell and texted my lunch-date for the following Monday 'let's do cafe landmark for lunch!'.
Yes. I will readily pay full price for the very good lobster linguine.
(hm. I will pay full price not to have dinner in central... =P)
