This cafe serves decent coffee with options of a nutty house blend and a fruity "blossom blend" sourced from Ethiopia. I ordered the blossom blend black coffee with milk on the side. It was what its name suggests - I got notes of orange, jasmine tea and lemon. It was quite enjoyable. My hubby ordered the house blend cappuccino. What makes the cafe stand out was their food. With an extensive menu from breakfast, lunch to dessert, they devoted to a healthy approach to all their food items. Each food was designed with the high protein, low carb philosophy. The menu was thoroughly marked with all the calories, protein, carbs, fats contents on the margin, to inform you fully of what you have eaten.
𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐦𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐬 was decent. I liked the crunchy cauliflower rice which was well seasoned with kimchi and went well with the runny egg yolk and scallops.
My hubby's 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 was made with unsweetened cocoa powder, almond flour and *mozzarella cheese* - quite an interesting combination, though we couldn't quite taste the cheese in it. The waffles tasted like dark chocolates (I am a fan of 99% dark chocolates so I was fine with it). The maple syrup added a subtle sweetness.
My favorite was their 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐳𝐮𝐤𝐢 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥, which was so smooth and fluffy. It had got that nice matcha flavour without being too bitter. The azuki bean paste was in just the right portion. The cake was not dry at all. A really outstanding roll cake I would say.
They open at around 8 am in the morning. Will go again to try their breakfast some day.
Plus: Staff were really friendly 👍🏻🌝
