They serve mainly squid themed items like fried squid cake with rice; other items include squid wonton, beef brisket, different types of rice in soup.

The signature dish here is definitely fried squid cake with seaweed served with rice and sunny-side-up. That's what I've ordered (you could change the rice to vermicelli, udon or demaicho - instant noodles). A drink or a bowl of soup is also included in the set.

It's fish soup with dried bean curd, spring onions and seaweed. The fish soup was flavourful with a peppery taste enhanced by the fresh spring onion taste. Good!

The steamed rice was soft and mixed pretty well with the sunny-side-up. The sunny side up was neither as big nor as flavourable as I had initially thought it to be. But still, no complaints. Demaicho might be good too.


The fried squid cake rested on a bed of fresh cabbage.

The fried squid cake was really something! It's made of very fresh and sweet minced squid mixed with some carrots. Fried after being dipped in a light batter. Extremely crunchy yet not oily at all. Amazing! Better squid paste than any hotpot place I've ever had in Hong Kong.

The nori on top of the squid cake was grilled. Also high quality stuff.

The friendly staff reminded me to add the soy sauce to the squid cake and to the rice. The soy sauce made of a secret formula really enhanced the taste! It's not as salty as normal soy sauce. It's very light; remotely similar to sweet soy sauce used to steam fish. Very good!




The squid cake was so good that I ordered a take away for my wife:
