Dinner for two @ the honest Italian, our Wanchai Pirate...The venue is quite new. The first impression you get when you come in, is this touch off fresh, elegant fine and dynamic that a modern restaurant should have. The Venue/Deco: this pirate's house is very stylish and elegant
The Drinks: Liquor License ain't on yet. You will have to take your own Liquor
The Atmosphere: lovely smiling staff. Perfect temperature. Home-feeling. Good music.... was nice to listen to some old INCUBUS tracks well done
The Host: knows exactly what he is doing! you should trust this PIRATE
The Food....
We had first the VITTELO TONNATO (veal with tuna sauce and caperns). I give this simple presented dish a max score! personally, to me, the best of the night
Next course s were MMM ( My mama's meatballs) and BRUSCETTA... the meatballs were tasty and the sauce delicios. The bruscetta could not be more tasty.
Fo maincourse we had two different PASTA. The noodles are fresh made a la minute and taste as this! simple perfect!
For dessert we got PANNACOTTA and TIRAMISU. I must say... even I love Tiramisu I was more surprised from the Panna Cotta! I wouldn't ever count it as one of my fav dessert plates until yesterday
so... Id say bravissimo!!!
