Went here for a quick dinner before the movie. Why chose UA cinema in Tai Koo Shing for movie? Apart from its location, its shopping centre is also a benefit. We love shopping in UNIQLO and other APITA so we like going to watch movie here too. To save time, we always eat at the Food Republic. This time, we ordered a 泰式炒濛粉 set and also a 海南雞飯 set.泰式炒檬粉 came with a surprise. The portion of the noodle was quite large. The set came with a small dish of vegetables and also two fried fish cakes

The portion of the泰式炒檬粉 was rather bigger than we expected, so perhaps due to this, its taste was rather lighter than normal. Not as the usual Pad Thai. A bit too bad. The fish cakes wer fried nicely and were tasty and chewy. The vegetables that went with the set was okay. To aid achieving a balanced diet.
The 海南雞飯 set by the “Seagent” was nice and met our expectation. Its chicken was tender and with favour of chicken, mostly those frozen chicken would have no chicken favour at all. however, this one had! I particularly loved the sauces that went with it. The chilli sauce and the thick soya sauce was very very nice to go with the chicken. The rice was not too oily and had slight tasty scent. Though the portion was a bit small for its price of $45 a set, which had only a small dish of chicken, a bowl of rice, a bowl of soup and a dish of vegetable. Yet, we still love it.
