Have been eating at this shop intermittently for many years.The standard has dropped dramatically across this chain so much..... One sees a lot of local English Press, Japanese Mags or even Local Press having covered here and proclaiming it to be representing the best of Hong Kong. Unfortunately these days, this couldn't be further from the truth...************- The Fish Balls at $2.0/piece were so low in density and lacking fish paste taste, it was like eating fish souffle balls (高力豆沙). - S
The standard has dropped dramatically across this chain so much..... One sees a lot of local English Press, Japanese Mags or even Local Press having covered here and proclaiming it to be representing the best of Hong Kong. Unfortunately these days, this couldn't be further from the truth...

- The Fish Balls at $2.0/piece were so low in density and lacking fish paste taste, it was like eating fish souffle balls (高力豆沙).
- Squigy Squid Balls followed, no taste of anything.
- Last but not least, Fish Cake pieces which are round here, were a under-fried pale yellow, again lacking in taste or density.
- Soup was a generic MSG laden murky soup, no fish or pickled veggies taste whatsoever.
- The best thing about this shop is there is no door at the front - you can just walk straight out conveniently.
