[#yuenlong] [#hfortaiwanesefood] 8/10 went to @both_street first thing the next day post show. Super long queue even on a weekday afternoon as that was make-to-order with only 1 person kitchen.Ordered both savoury and sweet ones. For savoury, we had Taiwanese Sausage Gua Bao台灣香腸刈包 and Shrimp Cake Gua Bao 蝦餅刈包. The buns were soft, with a little bit of sweetness and adequate moisture but not oily. Sauce of Shrimp Cake Gua Bao was special, taste like mustard and I love the vegetables which added textures to the bite. Sausage Bao was awesome too, and the overloaded scallions contributed to the texture too.
For the sweet ones, we ordered Taro Pork Floss Pressed Bread 芋泥肉鬆壓餅 and Cheese Pressed Bread芝士壓餅. OMG both were so good and served warmly. A little bit of crispness on the outside and fulfilling filling filling the inside. Sorry my photos couldn't show the real cheese pull for the Cheese Pressed Bread but they were honestly so good. And, taro and pork floss are always the perfect match!
