一個字:怪。其他選擇不錯,新張期內有折,性價比頗高,有翻吃機會。7/10Second enmaru branch and it's located at K11. Those who've heard of Enmaru will know that it is apparently once the winner of an Izakaya competition in Japan. I've been to Enmaru at World Trade Center for lunch. I found the quality of the set lunches good but slightly overpriced. Nevertheless I decided to give this a try.The shop is located at where Ginza Bairin used to be. It's located at a really quiet and elusive corner. I think it's cozier than the branch

The shop is located at where Ginza Bairin used to be. It's located at a really quiet and elusive corner. I think it's cozier than the branch at World Trade Centre.
The drink list, however, was not as comprehensive as I had expected it to be. They
served different variations of Kirin Frozen, and red & white wine. However, I couldn't seem to find sake and sochu. Perhaps it's in a separate menu.
I was a bit hesitant over ordering ramen at an Izakaya, but being a fan of chicken ramen, I eventually gave in to the temptation.
It came after a short wait:
Indeed, the broth tasted a bit like cheese and cream soup more than anything else. It reminded me of the "soup in a cup" type of cream soup. I found the taste fairly odd.
The ramen used were thin and had an egg-noodle like taste and texture. It was fairly springy. This was OK.
The set also included two pieces of maki made of pickled vegetables, salad, pickled vegetables and grilled on tongue. For $98 it was OK.
When the bill came, the set was only $68 plus service. I double checked with the friendly waiter and was told that they were offering a special discount during the new opening period.
If it was just about chicken ramen, then I would have just awarded this place an OK. But because of this pleasant surprise discount and that it's new. I'll give this a smiling face. I'll probably return to try their curry udon.
