第一次食YOGURT既我, 覺得依間既YOGURT好似軟雪糕咁呀, 好好味呀。原本我想食MIXED BRRY架, 但試過之後唔係想像中既味道, 所以叫左euro tart, 酸酸地幾開胃。有機會既話我再帶我啲好朋友再黎試下佢~~希望下次佢有士多啤梨味啦。順帶一提, 老闆佢地都好NICE架, 介紹我地食咩野味道呀。

跟同事一大班人遠道而來
由地鐵站經行人電梯上, 走了大概10分鐘, 終於到喇...
店舖裝修簡潔, 乾淨, 以白色為主..... 走簡約時尚風格.....前後場共有大概7-8個Bar 檯位坐
我們一大班人入到去...剛巧老闆娘在場
佢十分友善.... 親自為我地介紹店內YOGURT
又叫我地隨便試味.....店員好快手就立即準備不同味既YOGURT 比我地試
有strawberry, cappacino, euro tart, chocolate, vanilla , 同埋如無記錯就係原味
其後店員亦都好細心為我地介紹各款TOPPINGS, 有水果, 有D朱古力, 有NUTS.....
數落TOPPINGS款式應該超過20款...... 好吸引~~
最後我叫左LARGE+2 TOPPINGS $35
(另一個SIZE 係MEDIUM+ 1 TOPPINGS $28, EXTRA TOPPINGS $5@)
YOGURT 可以MIX 2個 FLAVOUR... 我要左strawberry and cappacino...
Toppings 我要左granola and Mango
yogurt 好軟同滑,
cappacino 同strawberry 既味都夠濃, 而且不太甜
GRANOLA 配YOGURT 非常好味....
凍中帶點脆.... 好好咬口~~
食完之後個口無好似食完而雪糕咁甜"椰椰"

據老闆娘講呢度既yogurt 係low fat and low calories...
但toppings 就唔計....朱古力呀個D就自己負責
所以只要識揀, 呢個絕對係好味又唔肥既消暑佳品!!!!!
聽老闆講佢地有意想開多幾家分店
希望未來有機會係地鐵站附近既位置見到喇~~

jun 09, 09,好似好耐都無嚟過soho,又見到有食家報稱有間新開嘅乳酪店,所以嚟觀摩吓兼叫咗 : 1) large cup ($35)-乳酪揀咗key lime同士多啤梨 (另外仲有好多人叫嘅euro tart同雲呢嗱)-topping就揀咗granola同chocolate sprinklers-個lime味坊間少有,有青檸嗰種特有嘅酸味,但甜度亦適中調和番個酸味-士多啤梨味都幾實在-但個人都喺鍾意質感比較挺身嘅乳酪,所以就嫌呢度嘅乳酪軟身咗,易溶咗少少-2款toppings都好脆,我估個保存keep得好乾爽。呢個granola問清楚喺無提子乾,可以放心叫,事後諗番,覺得自己呢個配搭揀錯咗因2隻都喺脆口。如果可以再揀過,我就會keep番granola,之後再配1種鮮果粒喇.........例如藍莓都好* 佢哋好歡迎同鼓勵客人試啱個乳酪味先買............呢個措施啱晒我,所以我就試咗3隻乳酪味先揀咗呢2隻 * 橫掂都喺.........下次等我試埋附近嘅berrygoxx比較吓先得

眼看foodiewil如此快就試了這家新的frozen yoghurt店…喜歡吃乳酪的我又怎會放過…? 在我看到他的食評之後第二天…一下班就飛來這裡試吃…

正如他所說…每次有四款味道…今天是lime n ginger, euro tart (即原味), strawberry和vanilla…店主很熱心的為我們介紹他所做的frozen yoghurt…除了vanilla外…其他味道都有試吃…..

lime n ginger…味道清新…青檸不會過份酸…兩種味道合併上來都幾夾…淡淡的…不會太濃烈…不過就不太吃得到乳酪味…其實這裡的frozen yoghurt口感有點像另一家在擺花街的urban eatery…兩家的frozen yoghurt同樣是帶點幼滑沙冰的感覺…不種yo mama般…比較實淨的像雪糕…亦可能因為有加了少許冰的關係…所以就算是原味…那種乳酪味道好像都不太濃…

相反…strawberry吃起上來口感就比較像士多啤梨雪糕…顏色很新艷…味道是不錯的了…但如果不是預先知道加了乳酪的話…我或者未必可以吃得出乳酪味…當然…吃得出奶味不重…自然不是在吃雪糕…但乳酪味也不怎麼突出…

沉迷乳酪味道的我…當然選了原味…因為這裡沒有mochi…所以我選了朱古力圓粒脆脆…就好像早餐會加牛奶一起吃的那種甜甜的cereals…另外友人就點選了芒果…大杯裝加兩款toppings…售35…不貴~而且這裡的frozen yoghurt不是中空而是實心的…所以份量不少的哦~ (yo mama的是中空了…感覺上一吃到中間就會讓人感到有點失落….) 原來朱古力圓粒脆脆配乳酪很好吃的呢…甜甜脆脆很不錯…另外芒果肉也很甜....

能遇上乳酪雪糕瘋狂愛好者真不容易啊~~熱切期待再有一家新的yoghurt店出現呢~

Remember TCBY -- The Country's Best Yogurt -- the import that got HK by storm over rainbow coloured yogurt that's too sweet even for a child with a sweet tooth? Not so long ago I ate my way through one frozen yogurt joint after another -- from the very first BERRYGOOD to URBAN EATERY to most recently, YO MAMA in Wan Chai. I have secretly fallen in love back with the frozen concoction. It doesn't take a nutritionist to tell you that frozen yogurt trumps ice cream when it comes to fat, sugar and all the bad stuff that added up to your waistline.

By pure coincidence, I ran into the newly renovated space on Elgin Street. A sign stretched across from the top says "Yogurtime". Through the glass doors is a space with pink and green wallls. White barstools and matching lights from the ceiling -- the sheer comfort of a simply designed yogurt place is bigger and more open than say, Yo Mama. Meet DANI and ROSE, two friends from California who decided to open a frozen yogurt joint all the way across the planet in Hong Kong. Having done some research and visits to other frozen yogurt joints in the city, Yogurtime is standing out with the no preservatives, no added sugar in the yogurt mix. Oh, did I mention there are a total of 30+ kinds of toppings rotating including some of the rare finds like pitted dates, Italian hazelnut wafers, and fresh kiwi?

And one more thing -- Yogurtime features 100 different flavours of frozen yogurt, Of course it's rotating day by day, but favorites like strawberry, chocolate, vanilla and mango are going to stay for a little while, with another four flavours rotating every now and then. 8 flavours per day, a few of them rotating each day, not to mention each order will get to choose a mixture of two different flavours. The combinations are limitless, literally.

The flavour not to miss is the EURO TART -- you can call it plain yogurt, but it's no plain Jane, Note the creaminess in the texture and the sharp tang that signifies the signature mark of what yogurt is all about. The frozen yogurt is not anything icy but plenty smooth all along. It has a dairy creaminess and sweetness to it without it being artificial and cloying with an aftertaste. There are two sizes for frozen yogurt -- small ($28, 1 topping), and large ($35, 2 toppings). I ordered a big one for myself this day -- a combination of EURO TART and STRAWBERRY (and a little VANILLA too, because the EURO TART ran out halfway...lucky me!!) For toppings I chose the unconventional pitted dates and granola.

The Strawberry yogurt is a uniform pink, with a deep berry flavour not unlike the fruit roll-up candy snack we ate when we were little -- with a rich summery flavour as if the berries have just been picked fresh and sun-blushed. The granola was sweet and crunchy. It's a perfect texture as a topping since the yogurt is feathery light and the granola helps offering some bite in every bite along the way. The dates are gooey nibbles of caramel taste in a fruit which also matched well with the Euro Tart flavour. The sweet-tart two-way punch is seriously addictive, despite how little I like dates on its own.

Pictured here, you can see the scrumptious offering Yogurtime is offering each customer. Now that is a form of generosity uncalled for. Later it was confirmed that the LARGE size frozen yogurt contains a whopping 14 oz of yogurt swirling in a cup, and that is twice as much as you will get at YO MAMA...Call it being economical, and with the possibilities of exotic flavours such as key limes, cappuccino, coconut and pineapple, Yogurtime offers a venue for escape from the blazing summery heat, and through conversations with the owners, I'm truly amazed that they already have future plans on how to do the flavours, or improve the quality of their products, not to mention promoting the family tub twice the size of commercial tubs but half the price.

Now I know, for the very least, there will be a lot more of these times for me when I need a Yogurt, and when these times come, I'll know where to go...
