Bought coupons for $1 for a large 3 topping frozen yogurt... excited to go there.... the place was quite hard to find as it's a bit away from the main soho restaurant establishment IMO. you got to turn left and walk up a little bit after you get off the escalator
Excited for our Yogurt, we got inside the store, there was no one inside the shop, there was no music neither, it was awkwardly quiet. There was a girl sitting on a chair behind the counter, reading magazine, hiding from whoever.. we could barely see her when we got in. She quickly got up after she saw us walking in, I presented my coupon to her, she went to the back room to ask someone to check it, as we were awkwardly waiting in this awfully quiet room, while the other staff checking our coupons, not knowing if anybody was **READY** to take our orders, I was wondering in my head how this is going to work, waiting for someone cheerfully introduce me to all these unheard of favors which I assume that's what "yogurt shop" are supposed to be... being all cheerful, the girl was just standing there, looking at us impatiently, so I was like "it's okay to order now??!!" and ya whatever..... there were so many favors that I'd like to taste-test first, I would appreciate at least an introduction even if she's not going to ask me if I want to try any of those but NADA.
Anyhow, I picked the most basic ones since I hate being screwed over by something that I'm not sure of food-wise, there were 3 toppings that goes with it, I don't even remember what I picked. They had quite a lot of selections, special ones too! The toppings were amazingly small amount... funny thing was, my husband got A LOT more toppings than I do, maybe I don't appear to be nicer than my quiet husband.
The girl gave me the yogurt without saying anything, I guess she doesn't need to do because we just got our yogurt for a DOLLLARRR!!! yea, like they were actually doing us a favor
And while we were having our yogurt, someone behind us wanting to order something, she was standing there for like minutes and no one was there behind the counter to take her order, and it took them forever to make the smoothies the lady ordered, they were going back and forth a few times in the backroom to make drinks which doesn't look good at all!
anyhow, the taste of yogurt was not worth for all the bad service, they taste a bit "icy" vs. "creamy" compared to other froyo shop. and I did found out that I can picked TWO favors for my yogurt from the flyers sitting on the table AFTER I ordered GREAT! I guess the girl just thinks that I DON'T NEED TO KNOW! I did make a complaint to Twangoo where I bought the coupon from & explain to the situation, the staff there was great and told me they are going to let the owners know about that, and I was hoping that the owners will actually respond, but I guess they don't even care about the people that bought their yogurt for a dollar!
