今天午餐走了去那裡,只有set lunch供應...一心以為有青口食...ok 人到了照食可也.但我太太的湯無包跟,問了那法國大叔,他說在焗爐中(最後也沒來).我的tuna salad 不過不失大路之作...兩個牛排來了,也是硬了些,,汁還是可以的至於甜品.....牛奶公司雪糕,,,沒話說了 但80元個人,都ok的....早知行上一條街

Apple Slice Cake $40 - 據老闆話此為當晚唯一的甜品,據雜誌所報導, 呢個係佢地既家鄉傳統甜點, 味道其實就好似我地既bread pudding較為油一點, 甜味不重, 但由於用全蛋做, 都非常之漏
Still water $45 - .....明明有Tap water....但佢主動提供要錢的
環境cozy,店內掛左好多當地的照片同特色裝飾, 店主亦親切有禮, 不愧為小店既特色
用餐期間都有好多人想walk-in幫襯, 但都俾店主一一拒絕, 原因係full house, 但到我地離坐都尚有空位, 相信佢係想貴精不貴多
可以一試
但真係試一次就足夠
始終係中環有特色既小店多的是
用250蚊相信有更好既選擇

After working on Sunday morning in the office, Mum and I went off for lunch at Soho without much planning. We saw this small, delicate shop with a blackboard saying "Mussels Special" standing at the front door, and we decided to go in and see if we could relive the delicious memories of having mussles in Belgium.The shop offers French style Crepes (both savory and sweet), which is the type that has the thin wheat "skin". [I wrote this twice already in Chinese without saving because I kept pressing the wrong key! So, I've decided to type in English because that'll take a much shorter time...]

After working on Sunday morning in the office, Mum and I went off for lunch at Soho without much planning. We saw this small, delicate shop with a blackboard saying "Mussels Special" standing at the front door, and we decided to go in and see if we could relive the delicious memories of having mussles in Belgium.

The shop offers French style Crepes (both savory and sweet), which is the type that has the thin wheat "skin". Mussels are offered with fries, along with a selection of white wine sauce, white wine sauce + cream or curry(!). We picked the most normal sauce (ie white wine) and a mustard honey chicken crepe.

The portion of the mussels was just right. It gave us enough space for the crepe. Mussels (black shell, not the Chinese green shell) were a little well cooked, probably because they were imported, so they had to be more well cooked. The sauce was rich, with an abundant amount of garlic and shalloth, but it was rather a bit too salty for us, which proved that the cooking was authentic! (French people take very salty food!!) The fries were freshly made and were delicious.

The crepe was great and I love the wheat that was used in the crepe. The chicken was a bit well cooked (I think it's white meat) but the honey mustard compensated the slight roughness of the meat. The salad that came at the side of the crepe provided a good balance of some vitamins and fibre to our meal.

Overall, it was a pleasant lunch, but a little over-priced. The place was small but quite cozy. I wouldn't suggest having a big party going there though, because it seems like the chef would only be able to make one dish after another. The "server" was a French gentleman, who groomed and dressed well. It's quite different from the rest of Soho because it made me feel that I'm really in Brittany, while the other restaurants gave me this very artifical feeling.
