讚:環境好得,對住個草地教堂咁,無得頂;野食好多元化,頭盤同甜品擺得好靚仔。味道整體好,頭盤既沙律、所有甜品、主菜既牛都好好味,以價錢黎計算對得住有餘彈:生蠔唔得,好廋,片皮鴨都一般,皮唔脆肉唔滑,張檯有啲細,一擺野就要搬黎搬去

先由 Unlimited Appetizers 開始介紹。雖然沒有冰鎮海鮮,但坦白說相比毫無技巧的恰海鮮,我更愛這裡的海鮮頭盤/沙律,如這 Prawn Salad 所用的大蝦十分鮮爽好吃,配上底下的木瓜沙律,非常清新!同場的 Beetroot Salmon、Smoked Sardine 及 Smoked Mackerel 都好好吃~

同樣是煙三文魚,高低水準可以相去極遠。這裡的煙三文魚就是魚味濃郁、油香迷人的優質貨色,無論是淨食還是配上黑麥包、酸忌廉,都是無比好滋味~

愛吃蟹又怕動手的,絕對會喜歡這裡的 Crabmeat and Avocado Salad:鮮甜的蟹肉配上健康牛油果,滋味再度昇華,我忍不住取了數杯來吃呢!

此外,場內也有現成的 Quinoa Salad 藜麥沙律、像是中式涼拌的 Jade Vegetable Salad、繽紛烤菜併盤,以及加了壓縮西瓜的 Heirloom Tomato Salad,款式不是極多,都全都十分吸引!

食肉獸的話,除了多樣化的自選主菜,頭盤自助區也有 Chorizo 辣肉腸、Salami 莎樂美、Parma Ham 巴馬火腿、Air dry beef 風乾牛肉、Serrano Ham 加上豐富配料以供選擇!

稱得上是 Brunch,場內麵包選擇也不少:小巧可愛的 Mini muffin、多款口味的牛角包及不同果味的 Danish、肉桂卷、綠茶紅豆忌廉號角、士多啤梨檸檬忌廉號角,好想長多幾個胃啊!

在這區還多款清甜切件水果、大大粒又紅艷艷的士多啤梨,加上多款朱古力片、糖果等,而且在室內還有更多爆谷及雪糕,甜魔來到一定樂而忘返。對了,場內正還有 Face-painting,愛甜又貪玩的小女孩最樂了~

好,步入用餐室,也還有一個精緻芝士區,供應著 Brie、Emmental、Goat 以及我十分喜歡的 Comte Cheese,同上的葡萄、Quince jam、合桃、杏桃、西梅乾等配料也非常合心。

還未完,場內還有兩位師傅分工合作炮製的北京填鴨,由於所有鴨件都是即點即片、然後再包,所以想要指定那一部份、份量多少、甚至是配料的組合或更改,例如:走麼麼皮、雙重鴨片,都可以向師傅說明。而在後方,還有即煮意粉呢!

去到專為小朋友設計的矮身版 Kid's corner,其實中間的蝦餃、燒賣都很得成人歡心!我也拿了兩次;同區又有漢堡包、薯條、Mac & Cheese 等小孩最愛的熱食,還有水果杯、棉花糖、啫喱糖、糖果吧以及 cupcake 天地等,十分豐富!

所以兩口子也不客氣升級了任飲,幾杯香檳 + 數杯新鮮果汁下來,感覺都回本了!隨著精美麵包籃與好好吃的牛油上檯,我們也取來不同的水果、沙律、芝士、頭盤、點心、填鴨等慢慢享用,非常滿足~

以上美食加上自助的填鴨、意粉,已經都夠飽了,但 Sunday Brunch 還有六款自選主菜,內容有素食、有海鮮也有肉類,就看大家喜歡那一樣。 個人相當喜歡這 Pan Seared Barramudi,皮脆肉嫩的盲鰽配上香草椒絲沙律,十分清新怡人,再飽也吃得下~

牛魔也可以加$128享用 Wagyu Beef Striploin,嫣紅粉嫩又豐腴甘香的牛柳配上清爽蔬菜,食感美妙不膩,滋味很讚;而更多主菜選擇還有 Grilled Beef Flank Steak、Green Pea Barley Risotto、Roasted Chicken Roulade 及 Hlaf Maine Lobster Thermidor。

由於上檯食物相當豐富,去到甜品環節時,其實大家已經九成飽了.... 但還是忍不住抽樣試了不同的甜點,中間很多款式都非常美味,而且每位惠顧的成人還會獲贈以白色禮盒呈上的精緻小蛋糕,小朋友也有可愛曲奇帶走!

感謝Caden Kim介紹這間餐廳讓我度過一個愉快的週末菜色中龍蝦沙拉還有洋蔥湯最能給我驚喜!特別是把洋蔥湯倒出來的時候就突然給我一個衝動就是“吃”Thank you Caden Kim for introducing this lovely restaurant!The lobster salad an onion soup were amazing!! The lobster salad an onion soup were amazing!! Also the warm welcome from Thomas Wong in Tai Pan with five-star service light up my mood of the day.

The atmosphere is fabulous with natural sunlight, it was definitely a relaxable lunch experience with friends.

Will come back for sure to try out the afternoon tea set and the bar at night.

Some improvement will be suggested to have more selection of desserts as personally I do want to have it but couldn't select on which I would like to try.

其實呢間餐廳,我係佢新開既時候食過好好味,個牛既炭燒味令我一直都好難忘,但係琴晚再去食,好失望。基於上次真係好好味,又超抵食,我當今次係例外,不過其實都有原因,因為佢要配合Hsbc 既優惠,只有一個餐可以點(當然有得三選一)個價錢$398嚇到我以爲睇錯🙄但係我黎得食飯,我就想食到好味既野食佢因爲配合個優惠,將個成本減低,而影響到個食物quality我寧願比返$1300一位,但食到好既食物啦我會過左匯豐優惠 7/4再去過既比多次機會你

We read the reviews on this restaurant and decided to give it a go for our 7th year wedding anniversary, however, the service was terrible and the staff was unprofessional. We felt like we were being rushed to finish the dinner as they served bread, amuse bouche and the appetizer altogether!!! It doesn’t feel like a fine dining experience at all. Also, no one introduced the food when served. We opted for the wine pairing option, but the Sauvignon blanc served was not cold and there was no sommel

We felt like we were being rushed to finish the dinner as they served bread, amuse bouche and the appetizer altogether!!! It doesn’t feel like a fine dining experience at all.

Also, no one introduced the food when served. We opted for the wine pairing option, but the Sauvignon blanc served was not cold and there was no sommelier to introduce the wine and to explain the pairing experience!

I specifically called to confirm that we are celebrating our anniversary and they mentioned that they will prepare something accordingly during the dessert time, however when dessert was served, nothing was prepared re: our celebration and I had to ask them to double check on my booking details. They didn’t apologize to me at all for missing out on the details and just took back the desserts and put on a chocolate garnish with writings on the same dessert (my apple tart was already soggy when it was served the second round! ) this is not the kind of service we expect from such restaurant ! It definitely ruined our celebration

Food wise, it was average, but the overall dining
experience was terrible. we won’t return again!

3-course dinner | $398pp
Started off with warm whole wheat and multigrain baguettes complemented by their homemade seaweed butter. Then came with the amuse brouche - the crispy fish skin was light and such a brilliant appetizing snack to kickstart the meal while the avocado mini tart offered you some freshness (the tart base was a bit dull and dry though).

The first course was hand picked crab cake with lime mayonnaise, very refreshing and light starter. The crab cake was slightly pan-fried forming crispy crust which was a very nice touch.

As the dinner progressed, it only got better and better! The main course, White miso black cod, was surprisingly delicious, the cod was perfectly cooked with enough crustation. The miso sauce had a slight sweet tone but not too overpowering, well balanced with the creamy celeriac purée. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The grilled striploin steak was tender and succulent, pinch of seasoning was enough to let the natural beef flavor sang through prominently without much need of a sauce.

Last but not least, it’s the showstopper dessert time! Both desserts looked stunning, they were so photogenic I can’t help but did a series of foodporn photoshot 😂 First the yuzu mille feuille served with lemon sorbet was so refreshing with tartness from both sorbet and yuzu cream perfectly complementing the crispy pastry - which was one of the lightest, flakiest, puffiest I’ve had in a while. Finally the showstopper - baked apple tart. Stunning, delicate and decadent, a dish full of contrast. Warm tart topped with cool vanilla gelato, baked apple tartness balanced with sweetness of caramel. The complementary vanilla sauce was too sweet for my liking so I left it off. Overall, it reminds me of apple tart tatin, not sure if I like the soggy tart base 🤔 a tasty dessert nonetheless.

An enjoyable night with incredible food, nice service and comfy ambiance, and more importantly at great value! They are planning on a weekend brunch menu to be introduced in Apr, will definitely be back for that 😉

其實怪都係怪自己唔警覺. 問recommendation 時佢已經講咗個lamb chop 係去油邊先煮, 所以冇咁羶. 個時冇諗咁多, 只係一心諗一定唔要個lamb chop. 一係lamb chop 來貨唔靚所以好羶. 一係個廚諗多咗. 但係勢估唔到sirloin 連煮嗰陣時都要去埋cap fat... 可能間餐廳係走健康路線掛... 都唔知可以點同佢兜.

甜品個friend 叫咗個巨版 raspberry macaron. Well, 因為真係冇乜得好揀. 佢話個chef de cuisine 係個法國佬. 但係個 outer shell 就硬繃繃, not flaky at all.


Again, 食物質素有待改善. 每人一千係俾個環境同埋熱心嘅服務.

The new lunch tasting menu for HKD800 is terrible. Nothing is good and special. Service is terrible too. Definitely not worth trying. The food is just like a cheap three stars hotel. Kitchen staff bringing raw food out of the kitchen, walk pass your table and go into another door. Unbearable.

We find the food of average standard relative to price.  It was about $1200 per person with one appetiser, main and desert.  The restaurant setting was contemporary.  We asked for rice and French fries with our mains.  Surprised to find out they charged $80 each.....  not sure if we would go back again in a hurry!

- made a reservation by email.  they did call to reconfirm my booking (as usual)- in case you think of having a drink at the hotel bar, the bar is small, you might as well head straight to the restaurant for a pre-dinner drink instead.- I am not a wine expert, I would not insult my intelligence here.- I would say this is a very respectable business setting restaurant.- We had the cod & the lamb (see picture).  The lamb was very nice.

I started off with a list of about 20 restaurants, some of which were newcomers in the first two months of 2018 and slowly trimmed it down to just a handful of options. Located on the garden level (UG/F) of the brand new The Murray Hong Kong, The Tai Pan is a modern European restaurant with a sleek and contemporary setting. The Murray is one of the most highly anticipated 5-star hotel openings in the city for years so naturally, I have high hopes for its restaurants as well.

This was a pretty nice way to start off the meal with a combination of clean flavors. The celeriac remoulade with diced green apple provided some mild acidity to the equation which was complemented nicely with a pommery mustard dressing (Grade: 4/5).

I thought the ribeye was well-cooked and fairly flavorful (though not as flavorful as I hoped) so some simple seasoning of sea salt, fresh pepper and red wine sauce already did the trick for me (Grade: 3.5/5).

Jelloman had lamb loin "Navarin" as her main course and she thought it was pretty decent. Like my ribeye, the meat was pretty tender and juicy but its flavors weren't nearly rich enough (Grade: 3.5/5).

There's always room for dessert and this turned out to be another dessert trolley experience (after Sabatini). Here, we have a choice between tiramisu, chocolate mousse, lemon tart, blueberry cheesecake and panna cotta all handcrafted by their in-house pastry chef (according to the menu).

I had the tiramisu because as everybody knows, I'm a tiramisu maniac. This was fairly decent but personally, I'd like to see a bit more mascarpone and perhaps less ladyfinger (but that's just me!)  (Grade: 3/5).

Better was the pistachio panna cotta with lots of fresh strawberries in it. Jelloman always has a knack of picking the better dessert (Grade: 3.5/5).

Not a bad debut at all. Just a few tinkering here and there and they could be one of the best new restaurants in 2018 when everything was said and done.
