The pan finally extends its boasted 24 hour breakfast to another gourmets' hub Wan Chai, with the same decor as in Central, the new squad is much spacious and enjoys a view of the bustling and hustling city, not a bad stopover for a quite bite especially hanging between bars nearby.
Stepped in on weekdays for lunch, got its two recommendations namely Egg Benedicts and Garden Omelette. The former one came with 2 side dishes which i got the toasted tomato and the spiced apple, the muffin was finely toasted yet it wasn't crispy and soft enough, the poached egg served nicely with the holadaise source, still it's not comparable to the one in Post 97 (famous for its authentic Egg Benedicts), credits must go to the spiced apple, the soggy apple was boiled to extreme tenderness with brown sugar, it's like u're getting an apple strudel without the pastry (which is a kinda good substitute for those on diet).
The Garden Omelette was served with gits and salad, with its thickenss it wrapped inside with assorted veggie and herbs, very nice indeed. The gits was actually grinded corn making like look like a porridge, it tasted a bit like oat, very healthy yet together with the main dish, it could really get u quite a bloatedness.
The staff are all very attentive, VERY meaning they're truely serving its customers in every tiny little aspects: 'what's tarrango?''Hold on, let me get u some from the kitchen and show u... it's a herb actually....smell it....'when i was about to get the papers 'which one do u wanna get? let me get it for u...''how're the dishes?'....heyyyy, they were those annoying guys keep bumping into you with questions, just if they came by to take the order and clear the table...how nice!!!
