Love the ambience this restaurant emits, very izakaya-like with the high bar tables.


I asked the bartender to surprise my with my welcome drink and she made me a delicious yuzu and mock gin drink sans soda!! Her name is Stephanie and she made my experience there ten times better with her perky attitude so kudos to her😁


Unfortunately I had to wait a long time at the bar for a table (at least 30 minutes) due to the limited seating areas. I ordered the lunch bento box set and the chawanmushi and miso soup came first for me at the bar because the staff knew I would be waiting for a long time. Chawanmushi was definitely made with high quality dashi as I could taste the depth of it and thoroughly enjoyed the smooth egg, they also had a ginkgo nut found in traditional chawanmushi so I appreciated that touch. The miso soup too, was immensely flavorful and I was disappointed in the small cup 🥹


I got the three layer bento box for $428 and chose salmon yuanyaki. The salmon was very fatty with a rich soy flavor but the edges were a bit tough and skin not as crispy as expected. The portion was also quite small but there were enough accompaniments so I left satisfied.


There was 4 mini futomaki rolls with crunchy burdock, takuan and cucumber and 3 mini nigiris; all on seasoned rice. Absolutely delicious. There is also this spongy cake-like fish cake that I enjoyed. Moreover, there is a large lotus tempura that is sadly not crisp but also not oily so it was decent. I did however enjoy the selection of pickled vegetables and mizuna salad. But what stood out to me the most was the wasabi. It was definitely not colored horseradish because it was not very numbing and had sweet undertones. The wasabi paired beautifully with the fatty salmon, I even asked for more wasabi 😆


For dessert, I chose the matcha donuts with yuzu curd and it was absolutely divine. The donut bites were warm and coated with sugar, it was fluffy and crisp at the same time. After eating it raw, pairing with the yuzu curd is a whole other flavor. Tart and zesty with pure sweetness. Highly recommend.


Overall, service was good but could be better and food truly had a strong Japanese touch to it. But be sure to call ahead for reservations as seatings are scarce.

飯腳約去Aubrey happy hour, 結果係食埋飯。我一直係文華粉,唯有文華係無論裝修和service都不見暴發味和白鴿眼。Cocktail永遠足料,service永遠燙貼舒服,牛扒亦係少數酒店做到凍咗都好食。Aubrey係一個好適合收工去坐下嘅地方,裝修好有舊Ritz Calton feel, 好舒服。基於遲到關係,不知道朋友叫了什麼紅酒,一坐低就飲啦!友人想挑一杯cocktail, 服務員不是很解釋到個list, 后來請了另一位同事來幫忙,最後挑了endgame, 一上枱便聞到好香好正。酒的牌子都挑得幾好,應該所有顧客都會揀到想飲的。叫了杯vodka問可唔可以要大大顆whisky用的冰同埋要啲nuts, 佢哋都ok.食物都是小小碟的,我們一行五人叫了不少食物。個人認為食材質素一般但汁和調味調較得好,所以overall是ok的。和牛三文治沒有想像中好吃,反而tempura和炒飯比想像中好。至於服務,仍然係好過其他酒店少少不過差過以前好多!埋單位位千一,同預期差唔多。

Went lunch for colleague’s birthday. Food was pretty low standard, expected it to be a little better. A4 Wagyu sando was quite bad as the wagyu was chewy in certain areas and super oily. I’ve had way better wagyu sando at other places and just ate a really delicious A4 wagyu tenderloin at TEST Kitchen hk 😋. The chicken texture was hard and dry 🤦🏻‍♀️. The pork was the same, not tender and juicy at all. The fish, sushi and tempura were ok, nothing special. The steamed egg was very watery and salty.

其實是2021年6月份去的那時候新開張所以去一試由於都隔太久了 持平一點我本來不想評論太多就裝修環境而言 絕對值得去打個卡但也許不太適合兩人晚餐約會也看得出來其他客人都是為朝打卡而來當晚食物跟雞尾酒都很一般 性價比不高傾天也不太自在 感覺是互相聽到鄰邊談話一訪可以的

Usually I enjoyed the vibe at night which is romantic and very classy ., but since the covid restriction , there's no more night time dine in. we had this nice chill and yet still romantic experience on day time, which I will say is totally different vibe and nice also,

Staffs are always welcoming and nice, especially the manager Enrico , he will greet you and prepare you the nice seating , checking if everything good time by time , making sure we have a fantastic experience while we were there as always.

first time trying this three-layer bento set, thought it will be tiny and not enough at the beginning before seeing it.  Fact is , it is more than enough , we can not even finish it . 

starter with the steam egg cup, which is very smooth and soft. following the three-layers bento with 1 layer sushi, 1 layer veggies and last layer main course of your choice. 

combining with the modern and classy interior and deco, surely is a place for a nice date or celebration.

我諗呢個餐廳主要係打卡同埋比人飲酒chill 下,食物完全中曬伏, 好睇唔好食。staycation package 包了一個三層便當,原本以為貴精不貴多,應該好好食,事實係中咗伏。最好食係個茶碗蒸,鮮甜同埋菇味出主菜分別叫做一個黑毛豬同埋炸雞三文治黑毛豬個用炭燒嘅,但我又食唔到炭燒嘅香味,而且有啲乾身,咬落去比較鞋口。炸雞三文冶醬份量啱啱好,炸雞都幾滑, 不過份量比較少,啲雞好薄,但炸粉比較厚。個麵包都好食, 唔會索曬啲油。壽司靚就靚 感覺唔新鮮所謂嘅蔬菜天婦羅好大陣油益味甜品麻麻,冬甩好厚實。

星期六晏晝去無提供套餐,全部散叫,以上未計10%service charge,但匯豐信用卡有折,環境係幾舒適同寧靜(因為無咩人😂)但呢個價錢真係寧願去食omakase 🙈

It was genuinely a decent dinner experience, the waiter was very keen on giving us some suggestions for the food and he definitely knew a lot about the dishes! The DJ was great and it was a very nice environment for a chat. There’s only two things to pick on, first, the table and chairs were a bit too low for dinner, it didn’t feel comfortable while eating, but I guess if you’re only there for a drink, it’s comfortable to chil-lax. There’s only two things to pick on, first, the table and chairs were a bit too low for dinner, it didn’t feel comfortable while eating, but I guess if you’re only there for a drink, it’s comfortable to chil-lax. Also, there’s room for improvement of the communication between staffs. We made a reservation at 6, and were told (on the confirmation phone call) that we could come a bit earlier, but when we got there at 5:30ish, the receptionist claimed that the bar was reserved for a private event and there’s no tables available. We ended up getting some cocktails at the Chinnery to kill the time. It’d be great if we could be informed with the right information to avoid similar situations;)
Talking about the food, it was amazing and my favourite was the eel tempura! The wagyu steak sando was also a must-try, it just melted in my mouth and it’s super juicy♥️♥️
