🇭🇰 Pok Fu Lam 薄扶林|Seed by Farmacy Looking for a fun place with meal? This place serves you right! 😊 Not only you can taste authentic Italian pizza, 🍕 but also can make your own one using freshly grown ingredients! This restaurant is steamed from the concept of “Seed to Table”, meaning they grow their own plants 🌱 from seed and can be harvested to make into dishes that serves to your table! For example, they grow Italian basils in their control environment, which can ensure the quality and health of plants, 🪴 and even without the need of extra chemicals like pesticides! They also offer a Sourdough Pizza Workshop, which allow customers to harvest some basil 🌿 from their greenhouse, then can be used for making a Margarita pizza! You also get to put the pizza into their oven that can perfectly cook your pizza in 90 secons using 400°C! 🔥 This is such a fun activity for not just adults but kids too! Apart from that, their restaurant also has a lot of great food, and we’ve tried:•𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐃𝐢𝐩𝐬 The Sourdough is so soft on the inside and it is not chewy at all! I also love the pesto sauce a lot too! 😋 With three kinds of dipping sauce, pesto was my favourite! •𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐃 Speaking of pesto sauce, this penne is also a great dish! I also love the pine nuts added! 🤩•𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐘 𝐖𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝 The salad is very refreshing and I even added some of the basil that we harvested! 🥗 The sauce is a mixture of garlic, horney and vinega, brings you all the flavour at once! •𝐏𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐭This cute little pot is actually the dessert for the night! It was a serradura pudding with Oreo powder on top!I really love this cool and innovative concept, which is more than just fun and delicious! 🍕 🇮🇹 I’m a fan of Naples-style pizza so we joined this wonderful workshop to learn how to make pizza the Napoli way, most impressively, to bake the dough hands-on in a REAL Napoli kiln oven that was built and imported from Naples. This was something else! Our workshop manager walked us through the restaurant’s seed-to-table dining concept. From hand picking the herbs from their in-house micro plantation system, to hand kneading their naturally fermented sourdough, to finally hand tilting the pizza in the three-tonnes 400 C Napoli kiln oven, every step was well explained and it was a truly educational experience. Both kids and grown-ups would enjoy. The place was huge and cosy, we got to sit down and enjoy our 100% handmade authentic Margherita pizza. It tasted REALLY NATURALLY delicious when you know how each ingredient was planted from seeds, how they were harvested, prepared and cooked. It’s one of the most authentic cooking classes I’ve ever joined. After our pizza, we had an amazing wagyu ox tongue and pickles salad, and wagyu cheek rigatoni, the beef tasted very fresh, tender and full of natural drooling flavours. It was my birthday so we shared a piece of tiramisu to celebrate our SUCCESS in life: being able to hand make and bake a perfect Napoli pizza!
