自從早年看過一套紀錄片名叫''SUPERSIZE ME'', 主角連續30天吃麥當當的漢堡快餐後所帶來的各種身體健康問題後, 雖然沒有令我對漢堡卻步, 但少吃了的確是事實.不過近年香港其實也開始有不少漢堡專門店冒出, 做法跟味道當然比連鎖店來得更認真和更講究.前幾天發現公司附近新開了這家同樣是以漢堡做賣點的小店, 這天正好沒帶便當, 便來試試其手勢.傳單上的卡通全是人手畫, 帶有幾分童真又幾可愛. 來到店前, 沒有堂吃只有外賣, 店內不太大, 厨房也是開放式, 環境就有點簡陋. 可能只賣漢堡的話難以營運吧, 所以這裡也有外賣飯盒甚至拉面售賣.第一次來, 當然是試試他的漢堡了. 這裡的漢堡都有十多款, 三心兩意之下選了個比較大路的款式.蘑菇芝士手打牛肉漢堡 (HKD$31)漢堡是即叫即製, 所以付了錢後也要等了約10分鐘才弄好. 拿到手後馬上跑回公司, 路程不到5分鐘, 所以打開來時仍是十分熱辣辣的.打開來看, 份量都幾大, 賣相亦幾現實, 不算吸引. 面包是嘉頓來貨的, 烘得有點脆, 算幾鬆軟, 生菜是成棵上的, 切得有點求其, 吃起來也不太爽甜, 很老的樣子. 牛肉的確幾厚身, 不過咬下去不算JUICY, 肉質算軟棉但肉味好淡. 芝士跟醬味道其實不錯的, 可惜仍是不夠濃郁. 磨菇只有幾粒, 不細心留意也不覺得有磨菇味. 整體只屬普通水準.另加HKD$9有洋蔥圈跟飲品打開時都真的幾油. 不過份量都幾多, 而且洋蔥都很大條又夠飽滿. 炸漿不算厚, 還好沒有油溢味~不過可能是外賣, 焗了一陣, 回到公司打開時有些巳經不脆了.飲品除了有咖啡奶茶檸水檸茶, 也可以選375ML的紙包飲品.埋單要HKD$40, 這裡只有外賣自取, 不送上門的.感覺食物大份, 能飽肚, 不過水準普通, 比起坊間其他好幾家的漢堡專門店尚有一段距離, 不過起碼比連鎖店好就是事實.

次次行過都比D香味吸引住, 今日終於有機會去試喇! 我叫左個Mushroom cheese burger, 點知見到有人叫左個洋蔥圈實在太香了, 我又忍唔住order一個,原來係佢地自己做的 而我兩個friend 就order 左個巴辣吉列牛肉芝士burger 同手打牛肉burger, 以為依d burger 店實唔平啦, 點知加埋飲品都只係$130, 實在很美味很滿足佢兩個食完仲想再返去買多個burger, 哈哈~下次一定會再去試其他食物, 其實最吸引係佢地好多食物都係自家製, 味道一流, 又有誠意, 價錢唔貴又好多選擇, 連早餐& Lunch 飯盒都有( 很平), 在這區實在很難得, 必定會經常幫襯

A burger place, close to the office building. Yay! I don't need to go all the way to Megabox. This week I finally decided to go to Penguin Burger. It's actually a small store and there's only take-outs. The logo on the front page of the flyer is hand-drawn. At first look, it does not attract much because it does not seem professional. The menu is also hand-written inside the store. One good thing is that there are many burger choices. Some I never thought of such as #10 Roasted Pork Neck Burger. I stayed with the more classical one: #5 Mushroom Cheese Burger. Without a combo set it already cost $31. For fries/onion rings & drink: +$9. To be honest, there was nothing exceptional about it even though the patty was homemade. I was actually pretty disappointed or rather surprised by the raw meat. I recall hearing loud sizzling noise while I was waiting for my order. I think Penguin Burger staff didn't want me to wait too long for my meal. Anyway, the meat patty was a little "springy" with the small uncooked tendons. Penguin Burger has only been opened about a week, but there aren't many customers. To tell the truth, I had a scan of the menu, it's not cheap. You can always opt a more budget-oriented meal such as the Burger of the Day for $20 or the "Americano Burger" for $15. Other than that, the place also offers breakfast and rice sets for lunch.
