A great restaurant is made of great food and great people. And Latitude 22 doesn't lack in either departments. It's only my second visit, and it has already become one of my favorite restaurants in town. On decor:The restaurant is simply decorated, and the vibe is casual. On decor:
The restaurant is simply decorated, and the vibe is casual. And I appreciate it because it shows that the restaurant is all about the taste of the food, not the bells and whistles.
On people:
I love the entire crew, especially the hostess Tricia. They were very friendly and humble, and definitely knew their menu very well.
On food:
Pork Loin Crostini - pork was cooked to perfection, the meat wasn't stringy or tough, but it was really the sauce that made the dish
Chorizo and Mushrooms - a must have! savory and creamy, and best served with their amazing herb flat bread
Meatballs - beef was soft, but mixed with a bit of tendon to give it a bit of crunch
Chili Garlic Prawns - just enough of a kick, and pairs really well with the menu's other savory dishes
Seared scallop - delicately dished, and the scallops were cooked perfectly
Let's not forget to mention their Sangria and wide range of beers and wines.
I definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants to taste authentic tapas. I'm definitely going back soon (after I work off my food baby)!
