We picked this restaurant for our anniversary dinner as the feedbacks shown on this website seems to be pretty good. But after dining there tonight, I can assure you that you will get a much better bang-for-the-buck elsewhere.For the food quality, it is not bad, but it is only so so for the price tag attached to the menu. We picked this restaurant for our anniversary dinner as the feedbacks shown on this website seems to be pretty good. But after dining there tonight, I can assure you that you will get a much better bang-for-the-buck elsewhere.
For the food quality, it is not bad, but it is only so so for the price tag attached to the menu. The lobster soup we had was a bit too creamy and did not have enough lobster flavor. The foie gras appetizer I ordered was too salty (Mind you, I can stand very salty food. If I call it salty, then it is definitely above and beyond what most people can deal with). The tenderloin we ordered was over-cooked and became chewy (nearly thought I was eating beef jerky, although it certainly would not have costed $360). The sea perch and prawn pillow I ordered was not even that good. The fish was over-cooked and lacked flavor. They put a ton of spinach under the fish and prawn pillow, and then topped them with another pile of greens. I nearly though I was having a salad. The prawn pillow was ok. But again, it was too salty.
While the food was mediocre, don't expect too much on the service either. Early on when I got seated, they did not even offer water and the waiter rushed in a wine list. When we told him that we did not want to order wine for the night, he still pushed for us to get mineral water (you can tell by looking at him that he will just make you order some costly drinks before he would pour any liquid into your glass). Then when we asked for alternatives to the broccoli coming with the tenderloin. He bluntly refused! And guess what? He once again try to hard-sell us on ordering a side dish (HKD140 for 4 pieces of fries). Talking about dining at a five-star hotel, they do not even train their staff on the most basic customer service etiquette. By the time when I saw my main dish, I just wanted to finish dinner asap and leave!!
Oh, to add another "cherry" on top of their list of disappointments, on top of the 10% gratuity that was already included in your bill, they apparently expect the customers to pay out much more tips. Obviously, for their poor service and mediocre food quality, we did not feel it was necessary to tip extra. But when we walked out of the restaurant, we definitely received a few glares from those few blunt and ignorant waiters. But I do not give a damn as I do not plan to return (not worth returning).

先後拜訪過The Lobby, Chesa, Gaddi's,作為半島迷必然也想將坐擁高層美景的Felix征服掉,就選擇了老公的生日前夕來幫襯。雖然就如Oli及許多食家所言,食物質素誠然不怎麼樣,但這頓預慶生日飯仍是不該偷懶,值得一記的。 是夜懞矓帶雨,遂打消了欣賞日落的念頭,七時許才搭專用電梯抵達28/F的Felix。餐廳分為四部分,一早訂位的兩口子被安排在用餐區的窗邊位;當時已值夜幕低垂,經雨水洗刷過的夜空份外清徹迷人,而百葉簾的設計又為夜空添上絲絲神秘美,加上場內摩登、型格又特別的佈置與椅子,環境一欄無疑是滿分的。 到場時麵包早已上檯了,兩款都鬆厚而帶麵粉香,水準比預期好,只是自已攤凍才吃扣了點分。柯打飲品後,溫文有禮的侍者送上餐牌,原來價位比想像要相宜,七點前的連四道菜early bird dinner才$448(難怪初時訂6:30pm位要指明8:30pm交檯),而包含多道菜式的Felix Experience也不過$788/$1288(連酒),兩口子也來了份不連酒的,再散叫主菜及「甜品」,然而水準實在好一般: Ahi tuna, black truffle, avacado-

到場時麵包早已上檯了,兩款都鬆厚而帶麵粉香,水準比預期好,只是自已攤凍才吃扣了點分。柯打飲品後,溫文有禮的侍者送上餐牌,原來價位比想像要相宜,七點前的連四道菜early bird dinner才$448(難怪初時訂6:30pm位要指明8:30pm交檯),而包含多道菜式的Felix Experience也不過$788/$1288(連酒),兩口子也來了份不連酒的,再散叫主菜及「甜品」,然而水準實在好一般:
 
Ahi tuna, black truffle, avacado-生吞拿魚的質感很擦膠,又腥,我少試了半件就不想再吃;牛油果天婦羅炸得香酥脆,味道與質感都挺特別,但講好吃程度還不及一般日式料理的雜菜天婦羅;最後黑松露則化身與前兩味毫不相干的醬汁,身份似是裝飾多於調味。
  
Razor clam "manhantan chowder"-以巨型蟶子殼盛起隨便堆砌的蕃茄、紅蘿蔔及蟶子粒,幾種食材毫無交流,令人覺得平白浪費了上好蟶子;附上一小杯湯汁,味道生澀怪異,明明熱暖卻令人心裡寒一寒!
 
Roasted peach, wasabi, prosciutto, aruguia-烤熟的蜜桃味道與西梅類同,天然純樸的味道比起先前的古靈精怪要討好多了;咸火腿卷著火箭菜也是好吃,終於吃出一點水準來。
 
American Beef Fillet-侍者評為「真係唔錯」的牛柳,幸運的水準真的不錯,剛好五成熟的肉質柔嫩無根,稍咬即化;同碟的白色芥末又份外清新,配上牛柳吃相當美味;另一脆炸薯餅則有點硬身,水準較為普通。
 
Pan-seared Austrialian Lamb-同樣都是叫了五成熟,羊肉明顯煮得較老及嚡口,卷以雜菜後賣相別緻,但味道一點不討好,反而配菜的薯仔片香滑軟稔,更具水準。主菜的份量不小,勉強吃了九成後,再也無胃納散點其他誘人甜品了,真傷心!


五星級酒店的服務十分到位,循例送上甜品餐牌一陣,便「自動波」捧出我一早預訂的驚喜---
朱古力慕絲生日蛋糕;老公,生日快樂!
精緻的蛋糕加上醉人夜景,顯得份外迷人,老公開心的許願吹蠟燭後,再次交由侍者為我們仔細分妥,並連另外兩款甜品同上檯。先講慕絲生日蛋糕,簡簡單單卻勝在朱古力味充足,慕絲質感細膩,蛋糕層又夠潤澤,味道要比甚麼創意前菜好多了;又香又滑的
榛子蛋糕是另一驚喜位,美味難以形容,比起cova的出品有過之而無不及,只恨份量真小;最後柚子果凍就好麻麻不懂欣賞了。
 
餐後還有水準稍降,但仍香醇柔美的半島
鮮奶咖啡,以及Petit fours作結尾,相當飽足又滿足,還有半個蛋糕拎走,這頓消費其實一點不貴。臨走又四處逛了一下餐廳,飽覽美景後,再到地庫繼續另一場享受。
 
最後想提大家務必要參觀絕美景觀洗手間,不看絕對是閣下損失呢!

大約十年前食過2次感覺超好, 十年後再去感覺新鮮, 多了酒吧位, 坐得更加舒適.今次食了前菜:帶子薄脆<<<<十分驚喜又鮮又甜, 龍蝦湯<<<膿香軟滑, 仲有麵包送好好食.主菜: 煙牛肉<<嫩滑鬆軟, 有牛味, 烤羊肉<<<香脆好味, 不過最好要5成熟, 三文魚<<<<比我想像好好多,,, 食完main course 都幾飽, 我叫了一個朱古力甜品(太甜, 不過好靚), 佢地叫了coffee. 特別要讚, 好滿意這餐員工服務, 十分有禮.

今晚係同小公主去慶祝我嘅升職,我今次揀選咗半島頂層28樓嘅Felix。放工就接咗小公主,跟住喺尖咀塞咗幾個字,終於駛到去半島,一停低架車,酒店嘅職員已經為我地兩個開車門,跟住即刻問我:"先生,請問去邊間餐廳?",我答道:"Felix",職員跟住回應:"知道,Sir",wow.....比人稱呼Sir,真係少有,果然係傳統英式高級酒店。之後,我地進入酒店,曉過商場,去到專為呢間Felix餐廳而設嘅Lift,去到已經有一個餐廳職員企喺個reception度,跟住我地住入架 Lift,差不多去到廿八樓時,Lift嘅燈突然調暗咗,營造神秘氣氛,一出Lift,行過一條走廊,見到餐廳最入係一個stage嚟嘅,又光又 grand,真係一絶,似係一個舞台多個一間餐廳,又到另一個reception,待應問我地兩個,要飲杯嘢先,定係想開始食飯,真係同一般餐廳嘅程序好唔同。佢地安排咗一張近窗嘅枱比我地,所有嘅窗都係落地玻璃,樓底有約三層樓高,氣派十足。我地最後決定要兩個set - 6-course menu - "The Felix Experience" $888,如果要pairing with wines

佢地安排咗一張近窗嘅枱比我地,所有嘅窗都係落地玻璃,樓底有約三層樓高,氣派十足。我地最後決定要兩個set - 6-course menu - "The Felix Experience" $888,如果要pairing with wines就$1288,不過我地另外叫咗一枝白酒

1. Domaines Schlumberger Riesling 2005 - 白酒,幾易入口,果香濃郁,感覺好好。

2. Assorted Bread - 有兩款麵包,一款餅乾,麵包係法國麵包,冇咩特別,小公主喜歡脆脆嘅餅乾,我就較喜歡另一款麵包,事關麵包加有bacon碎喺度,好香,真係好香,而且麵包好軟熟。

4. Hamachi, Citrus Ice, Cilantro, and Smoked Sea Salt - 油甘魚刺身,真的好新鮮,上面放咗一舊柑橘味嘅冰同海鹽,能夠帶出魚嘅鮮味,真係另一種日本以外嘅風味,其他地方我相信未必咁易食到。

5. Foie Gras, Passion Fruit, Pistachio - 鵝肝煎得啱啱好,入面仍然好軟,但係有筋,美中不足,配上酸酸嘅熱情果汁,同埋三舊酸嘅啫喱,一啲肥膩嘅感覺都冇,而且加有塊沾滿焦糖嘅脆片,口感豐富,而且亦富有視覺上嘅享受。

6. Spice Crusted Pomfret, Local Pumpkin, Sage Beurre Noisette Broth - 條魚表面已經舖上一層好厚嘅香草,令到本來只得淡淡鮮味嘅魚,味道來得豐富,而且加上南瓜同車厘茄做配菜,顏色好夾。

7. Brown Sugar Cured Lamb, Fingerling Potatoes, Chipotle-Mint Jus - 表面煎得啱啱好,入面仍然保然非常鮮嫰,非常juicy。旁邊放有兩件新薯,不過得一支羊架,份量略嫌少咗啲。

8. Rhuharb-Vanilla Soda - 一杯用嚟清之前食物味道嘅飲品,唔同其他地方用嘅sherbet,有新鮮感,又可以見識多一樣新鮮事。

9. Tamarind Mango Confit, White Chocolate Pavlova, Salty Tapioca Creme - 呢個甜品小公主就好buy了,用上一層薄薄嘅白朱古力做外層,入面上層有一堆菜,中層有新鮮芒果粒,下層有一啲叫做Macarons嘅物質,碟面周圍仲有用椰汁做嘅sauce,我諗真係唔會喺好多地方食得到,係值得嚟呢度試返次。

10. Coffee & Chocolates - 咖啡係普通貨式,不值一提,朱古力算唔錯,個人認為賣相吸引過味道本身。

Comments: 待應好pro,而且遵照傳統規矩,一定喺我地嘅右手邊起菜,真係難得。而且每道菜都花時間為我地悉心講解。係一次難忘嘅經歷,睇得出廚師係餸菜上嘅創意,呢份創意,真係值得我下一次有機會再去品嚐。下次有機會我希望可以試埋佢地嘅Chef's table,一餐又廚師為你創作為你度身訂做嘅一頓晚餐。

食物的水準亦非常唔錯, 朋友推介的幾道菜式都吃得滿意. 服務體貼週到又夠哂親切, 侍應又多靚仔靚女, okok~

最喜歡Raspberry +朱古力碎包包, 外脆內軟, 又香甜. Pesto Toast都唔錯, 好香.
酒水
朋友揀左支半島自家品牌的Pinot Noir, 偏Dry, 初初飲果香比軟mild, 味道亦比較平淡, 中段開始個Nose出返D, 口感亦豐富咗, 好明顯支酒係要攤的 (哈哈亂up而巳~)
前菜
Dungeness Crab, Pineapple, Jalapeno and Avocado
朋友推介的, Crab Cake的蟹肉一絲絲好軟熟, 又香甜, 塾底有我最愛的牛油果, 磨茸的牛油果又香又滑, 入面仲有一粒粒的果肉, 口感豐富, I like it~ 炸的版本好香口, 啖啖蟹肉, 凍咗都仲咁脆咁好味. 菠蘿就無咩特別.

第一次飲白色的龍蝦湯, 幾特別, 龍蝦味幾濃, 加了幾條檸檬橙酸酸地幾得意, 敗筆係飲到有麵粉味同唔夠熱.

Australian Lamb, Pancetta, Sweet Yams, Chipotle and Mint
羊架做得剛好, 肉質好嫩, 又Juicy, 帶點羊羶味, 中間釀咗菠菜同磨菇, 兩種食材分泌出來的汁液令肉質更能保持濕潤, 係個好配搭! Pancetta就麻麻, 比較硬, 甜薯亦唔夠糯滑.

Quick Smoke American Beef, Stilton, Melot
牛肉醃好後再放响煙醺Machine度煙一煙, 聞落好香, 煙醺味頗強. 牛肉本身幾嫩, 肉味本應幾濃, 可惜被略嫌霸道的煙醺味蓋過了. 所以煙醺的做法幾得意, 但可以再輕手d.
最驚喜係個炸Stilton Cheese, 芝士釀咗响Macaroni入面, 霸道的Stilton炸完香氣撲鼻, Macaroni好煙韌, 正到暈.維也納見我鐘意食, 比哂我食咁滯, 超滿足啊! 伴碟的菠菜又甜又有小小Crunchy, 好味啊~

開心果布甸配朱古力慕絲
好多人都知我唔食甜品的, 唯一例外, 係同開心果有關的任何野, 今晚有緣遇上, 點可以唔試. 個Pudding超香滑, 充滿開心果味, 入面仲有脆脆果,肉, 一流. 試咗小小Dark Chocolate Mousse, 朱古力勁濃, 勁滑, texture勁細密, 甜魔必愛!
朋友本身喜歡食甜品, 佢話今次竟然可以同我一齊食, 好開心! 食到咁好的開心果甜品, 我都好開心呀^^
大家談談笑笑, 又講下以前响英國讀書嘅野, 美酒佳餚, 絕對係一個極快樂的晚上.

景緻一流, 可惜有簾.

同個客去食完tea, 6點鐘佢哋就帶左我哋黎呢到食飯... 佢開頭話係半島食法國菜. 我以為好似其他酒店咁係一二樓嗰d餐廳. 估唔到係有專用lift搭上去. 一轉入餐廳.... 即刻比佢既裝修吸引住. 真係好靚呀. 佢分左上下兩層, 上層係比人飲野, 下層就係fine dining area. 一望就係高級地方, 連講野大聲d都驚得會失禮呀.個客話佢上次已經黎過, 所以讓左個對維港既位比我坐.... 雖然話係海旁食麥當奴都可以將維港美景盡收眼底. 不過呢到係居高臨下咁, 個view真係超級無敵. 一坐底即刻開左支紅酒先~~~ 紅酒我唔係咁識, 而且唔係餐廳既野就唔講喇. 落order既時候我發覺佢好似無咩得揀. 典型既外國餐廳餐牌. 睇完成個餐牌之後我都係比佢個甜品吸引住. 所以雖然其他人都點左3個dishes, 我都係堅持我只需要個main course就得. 反正佢送嗰d麵包好好味呀~~~ 正宗既法國麵包, 有軟有硬..... 我諗我淨係食麵包都唔知食左幾多呀!! 我雖然無order到salad同埋前菜. 不過爸爸都 "夾硬" 比左一兩啖我食. 沙律確實係好新鮮~~~ 我既主菜or

一坐底即刻開左支紅酒先~~~ 紅酒我唔係咁識, 而且唔係餐廳既野就唔講喇. 落order既時候我發覺佢好似無咩得揀. 典型既外國餐廳餐牌. 睇完成個餐牌之後我都係比佢個甜品吸引住. 所以雖然其他人都點左3個dishes, 我都係堅持我只需要個main course就得. 反正佢送嗰d麵包好好味呀~~~ 正宗既法國麵包, 有軟有硬..... 我諗我淨係食麵包都唔知食左幾多呀!!

我雖然無order到salad同埋前菜. 不過爸爸都 "夾硬" 比左一兩啖我食. 沙律確實係好新鮮~~~ 我既主菜order左銀雪魚. 好好味呀. 又唔會太油, 又香口. 好滑呀~~~

食完主菜, 終於都黎到dessert時間喇!! 係咁多個甜品入面揀左好耐都係揀番我最愛又最普通既blueberry cheese cake. 呢件暫時係我咁大個女食過最貴既cheese cake, 不過係食得出佢同出面十幾蚊一件真係有分別. 但係同出面幾十蚊一件又差唔多.

整體黎講所有野好正宗, 包括食物同份量. 不過係街外用一個平好多既價錢都可以食到一樣野. 真係黎食個環境囉~~ 尤其係我餐後去完個洗手間之後.... 個washroom既裝修超級靚. 最緊要佢有一面係落地玻璃, 外面就係維多利亞港. 對住個維多利亞港補妝既時間雖然只有短短既幾分鐘但係嗰種感覺勝過我坐係廳餐望住個景食左成晚飯.... 過左幾個星期之後既今日我都仲記得.... 真係好正呀~~~ 雖然唔駛我埋單, 不過淨係睇餐牌, 仲要加支酒我諗呢餐都唔慌平... 咁嘆既野. 一世人試一次就夠!

服務:一洗電話中不良的印象, 既沒有扮洋人說英語, 又知我不大舒服及不愛吃生, 主動建議點哪些菜, 頻頻主動加水及提議幫手影相, 相當不錯.
環境:沒有半點拘緊, 可恨百葉簾阻隔, 又可能在28樓, 對面海的燈飾頓變這麼近哪麼遠, 跟在SPOON相比, 好像遠很多!
價錢:當然是酒店價錢, 但比圓方的西餐廳便宜
最後, 覺得餐牌要改善, 所指的並不是選擇多少而是每道菜只寫材料而欠缺煮法如GRILL, DEEP FRIED...實在不能理解, 變相每道菜都要問侍應才知

Wagyu味道好出.honey話應該係焗出來的,不過我又覺得未到入口即溶的感覺,不過0的sauce真係好好~
Salmon其實整得幾好,不過我本身對熟0既Salmon麻麻,所以都俾左一半honey食,不過呢個sauce又係yummy~~

cake & dessert:
我特別準備左個cake俾honey,個cake好靚,而且仲超好味~~
另一個dessert,應該係送的(我見每台都有)....不過真係咪道麻麻地~~
佢個jelly,好似咬緊一塊勁甜0既糖咁,好唔掂~~
另一個Passion Fruit tart, 味道比jely好好多,.不過就好似sour左0的~~

over all, 全晚好滿意^^ 同另一半一齊去岩晒^^

For the food, I think they are of OK quality, dishes taste better with stronger flavours......but in any event most of the money you spent would be on the service you get, ambience and environment.

I was @ Felix 10 years ago and I decided to bring my customers (from Miami) there after reading the comments here.I will say the ambience is excellent yet I don't know why they put the blinds on the bay window which block nice night view...anyhow, the food was good yet it's not up to my expectation though...I still prefer Bonheur to Felix if you don't mind the atmosphere. In general, my customers were happy with the overall experience...

Finishing off with an array of dessert (to share): Citrus Cheesecake, Apple-ginger tart, and the most decadent dessert of all, "Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate!"! Perfect for Chocoholic fans!!

On the contrary to the phone reservation experience, the reception was very polite and led us to our seat. We were given table by the window (though facing street ^-^). The waiters who attended to us did not insist on speaking English and were friendly and professional. One of them even share the cooking experience of sauteed mushrooms!! hahaha...

Come to the food. Fantastic! We had the following:-
3xlobster bisque 1xpumpkin soup - super duper
2xcrab cake - very fresh! 100% crabmeat! value for $$$
1xtuna sashimi - something different. I quite like it.
1x salad (couldn't remember what was it called) - not that impressive.

Now to the main course... :-
lamb rack - MUST TRY! very tender (though medium cooked) and ... it's just taste great!
boston lobster - fresh fresh fresh!!! It tastes well with the cheese/tomato toppings, spinach and the sauce.
salmon - my friend opted "well done" but the waiter recommended "medium well" so that meat would be too dry. And he was right!
crispy chicken - taste good too (though 1st taste was "meat was rough & dry")

We had 2 bottles of red wine and 2 bottles of still water. All these cost us $4950 (treat from my friend, yeah!) but we all enjoyed the food, wine, service and the ambience + washrooms.

I would not hesitate to go again but it would be for some special occasion..

I was there 2 weeks ago for a drink. coctail was professionally made, so much better than those "too much or too little of that" drink in LKF.the only thing i was not happy with is they kept speaking english to you even you speak cantonese to them. i do not think english speaking made a hotel more classy, such thinking is shallow, stupid and may be right in 70's, it's 2007 now! this is also not what a proper hospitality should be.
