沙拉雖然選擇不太多,但每樣都新鮮好味!!吃了兩大盤主菜點了Grilled Chicken Anticucho 肉很嫩滑,very juicy。Duck Confit綠色的米飯很入味,和牛油果很滑很好吃,鴨肉份量很足,皮很脆。甜品剛端上來聞著就很香!吃起來更是好吃又不膩 賣相也不錯值得來的一家餐廳 愜意 滿足

First time to this restaurant. We were told that the restaurant was only two-month old. We started with the pisco sour. There is a lady's version which is sweeter, and a regular version. We went with the signature drinks and food. All good and in line with the general review. We started with the sausage platter, followed by the special of the day (Salmon), suckling pig and the burrata cheese salad. For dessert, we went for the churros and cheesecake for the three of us.

Went to El Mercado with three of my close friends and we had a great time, the food was amazing and the service was very friendly.I would highly recommend the Suckling Pig as well as the Scotch Egg tapas, of all the dishes we had these were the best. The service here is very good, waiters were attentive and friendly and all in all we had a great time.

The risotto was really good and slimy, highly recommend. The beef skewers also had a really nice roast flavor. Generally the things here aren't cheap but you're paying for the quality you're getting

I went to El Mercado not knowing what to expect, I'd never ate 'peruvian' cuisine previous to my El Mercado experience, however, to my delight I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere that El Mercado had on offer. To begin with I ordered an array of different entrée's including Ika Cevichi and scallop tiradito which were all superbly different from one another, with each dish presenting their own unique presentations and flavours. I went to El Mercado not knowing what to expect, I'd never ate 'peruvian' cuisine previous to my El Mercado experience, however, to my delight I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere that El Mercado had on offer.

To begin with I ordered an array of different entrée's including Ika Cevichi and scallop tiradito which were all superbly different from one another, with each dish presenting their own unique presentations and flavours. The Ika Ceviche includes seabass, sweet potato and calamri rings in 'leche de tigre', which is a sauce that is so strong in citric acids that is actually cooks the seabass - as explained to me by the attentive staff and head chef. Amongst all this however I will say that the "crispy calamari rings" that are included in the Ika Ceviche could be improved as the batter was slightly floury, but this was to no detriment to the entrée as it was still fanstastic.

As a main I shared a Brazilian Picanha with Grilled Avocado as a side dish. To accompany this meal I had a Pisco Sour cocktail prepared by the friendly barmen Manuel. The Pisco Sour has an unforgettably strong flavour that in hindsight wasn't the best choice for lunch time but nevertheless was still very enjoyable. The Picanha is a popular brazilian cut of steak that comes from the back of the cow and is cut, cooked and served with thick fat remaining on it, presenting the difference between picanha and rump and giving it the succulent tenderness and salty flavours. The Grilled Avocado was also exceptional, despite the fact I am not a big avocado lover, I still thoroughly enjoyed it and it paired with the Picanha beautifully.

Unfortunately I was not able to try any of the desserts on offer from El Mercado as my appetite was completely satisfied from the earlier dishes, however it will be an experience im looking forward to in the near future.

與朋友們共進午餐,特意選擇了秘魯菜,我十分期待呢。因為在秘魯旅遊時,當地人帶去吃地道的秘魯菜,十分喜歡。中環個間秘魯菜執左,此店算是新店,就來試下啦,午餐有SALAD BAR $98,可加MAIN COURSE, 價錢由$60 至$100 不等。SALAD BAR有湯、各式生菜,薯仔沙律、有凍食熟的蔬菜,其中我最愛用檻欖油煮的椒類、茄子、南瓜等。肉類只有兩款PARMA HAM類,還有幾款生果。Salad BAR 的味道不俗,但選擇少而材料一般,我還以為會有QUINOA 的沙律,性價比低。反而MAIN COURSE稍為有驚喜。Duck Confit +$60鴨脾好大隻,香燻味濃而且皮脆肉嫩。牛油果夠晒熟,仲有用菜煮過的飯係底,飯的份量十分慷慨。我鐘意!!Brazilian Picanha +80Picanha 係巴西著名牛的部位,以前曾經係巴西吃過,十分喜愛,特別係當地食巴西燒烤buffet,一定會狂食。估唔到係香港都可以食到Picanha,我認為係最好食既牛的部位。賣相好靚,呢道既調味冇十足巴西的味道,都有八成似。燒得好香,好Juicy,medium但肉一d都唔韌,脂肪部位千萬不要放過

Picanha 係巴西著名牛的部位,以前曾經係巴西吃過,十分喜愛,特別係當地食巴西燒烤buffet,一定會狂食。估唔到係香港都可以食到Picanha,我認為係最好食既牛的部位。賣相好靚,呢道既調味冇十足巴西的味道,都有八成似。燒得好香,好Juicy,medium但肉一d都唔韌,脂肪部位千萬不要放過。可惜份量略少,但都值得一試!!!

The best combinations were the caramel filling and meringue filling which tasted like Fluff (the American marshmallow spread).
After the chocolates become solid. you get to make the chocolate wrapping and take them home.

1. Assorted Nigiri
Not your usual nigiri - there were some interesting combinations that included some seared beef with a quail (?) egg on top, another with some uni...Came with a total of 6 pieces (2 of each). Each bite was delicious - my only wish was that the sushi rice could have held together a bit better. When I went to pick it up, the nigiri broke apart a little too easily - but taste wise, it was great.
2. Ceviche
Their ceviche is so refreshing and yummy! The acidity of the 'tiger's milk' (the special sauce) was well balanced and the seafood was very fresh. The ceviche we ordered was slightly less 'Japanese' in influence but a Peruvian staple to boot!
3. Suckling Pig
Probably our favourite dish of the evening - the skin is thin and crispy, and the meat underneath still moist and tender. My mom loved the edamame rice and bits of banana (or was it plantain?) that accompanied the pig. Seemed like a weird combination at first but turned out to be weirdly addicting instead.
Overall, great dining experience for the family. Environment was quiet and service was attentive. Will definitely be coming back - especially because there is still a ton of ceviche/nigiri left to try!

男友訂左枱同我慶祝生日,佢之前黎過覺得幾好食同夠特別,所以帶我黎見識下。餐廳用原木設計,枱櫈同裝飾品大部分都係木造,成個裝修好自然俾人好平靜嘅感覺,最啱我呢啲食氣氛嘅人(當然食物都好重要!)。 一直唔知秘魯菜有咩特別,更加無諗過去食,男友黎過自然由佢發板。整體黎講幾好食,好幾道菜我都好鍾意,下次再黎試下其他野。

先來一段教科書教學,Nikkei是日本人移民秘魯之後所形成的菜系,據說在環球有很高的評價。於是,有名廚將Nikkei帶來了香港,這夜與友人是慕名而來一試。遇上三號風球的日子,我兩人基本是包場了。餐牌上的菜式並不多。菜式和分類是以西班牙語寫成,我是看不懂的,幸好下面都有英文的描述,而主要的醬汁都有一段文字去解釋其構成,正如餐牌第一頁所說,他們是要帶客人體驗一下這種新口味,在這方面,此店是花了心思的。未了解詳情之餘,已經餓到不行,先點了必吃的、早已受到吸引的一項:日本生蠔配墨魚汁和Lime。墨魚汁是打成泡沫狀放在蠔上面,上桌時再用壺在旁邊加上湯汁。日本蠔向來味道較淡,經過此一料理之後,腥鮮的味道更濃,after taste也更持久。沿著餐牌向下一項,是壽司。每個order是兩件的,兩人吃就剛好點了兩款來試試。壽司飯的處理跟日本壽司有明顯的分別,跟risotto一樣略為生米。紅色的一款會讓你猜不著,那是西瓜,對,是西瓜壽司!沾了旁邊的黑醋汁之後,其酸甜味形成了一款很別緻的開胃菜。另一款是燒魚的壽司(坦白說這魚英文名我沒見過又懶得去google),魚片的鮮味與上面的燒汁也是很贊的配合。再向餐牌

再向餐牌的下一項,這究竟是甚麼?找來侍應一問,他解釋這是(按字面)傳統的甚麼都有的.......再追問一下,是像沙律一類的嗎?看來像是真的秘魯人的侍應先生口音頗為強烈,我也聽不清楚了。反正來試,就試著點一下。回來再google一下,原來ceviche是秘魯利馬的名菜,基本上是檸檬汁醃的生魚肉,準備功夫做得不夠,慚愧!

生的魚肉,配上大量洋蔥,底下是蕃薯,香料與酸汁,從沒去過南美的,直覺是很泰國的感覺。生的魚肉沒半分腥味,整體是很清爽,很能刺激味蕾的一道菜。
朋友容量有限,只有跳過First Cousre這一項。直接到Sharing這一欄。

不,這是蛋,是加了墨魚汁的蛋!驚喜吧?這一道,概念上是日式的蛋包飯,只是各個細節都變化了。蛋加了墨魚汁,口味仍是那傳統的煎蛋,蛋味沒被墨汁蓋過。炒飯中夾雜了米粉,口味更脆,不過整個炒飯來說,有點太油。
這一頓連兩杯house wine每人花費四百多,算是不低的價錢,有點可惜是沒遇上令人很想再來的菜式。良好的用餐環境,超帥的廚師,用心的侍應,新鮮上佳的材料,吃得出的用心烹調,對這一晚是沒多大怨言,可是對Nikkei的渴望就有點失落。是因為希望過大,還是口味沒對上?最後,請不要因為此評述,放棄去嘗試,或許你會有不同評價。
題外話/補充資料: 21樓居然仍有小蒼蠅, 一直纏著我們這惟一一檯客不肯走, 真不知道是從那兒來的

雖然香港是一個美食天堂,差不多每個國家的菜式都有,但總有些是例外的,好像今天這間Nikikei秘魯菜,是結合了日本及秘魯菜,要找相信也有一定的難度。就在灣仔軒尼詩道的一幢新食廈內有一間正正賣著這個菜系,聽說因為很多日本人也住在秘魯,所以他們對日本菜也有一定的認識。環境裝潢得悠閒,很causal的,光線或許有點昏暗,不過坐得都幾舒服。當中更有一個壽司吧的位置,內裡站著一個超級靚仔的型廚,後來才知道那人就是大廚,又後生又靚仔,有點似效力曼城的阿古路。這兒不會供應麵包,而是一包新鮮炸起的脆片,是蕃薯片來的,不過卻有好幾款不同的品種,初時吃起來是很香脆的,但放久了就會變得軟身,作為小吃都不錯。先來一點開胃頭盤【ANTICUCHO】,用上的是牛心配辣粟米蓉,看似有趣的組合,味道卻十分滿合襯。牛心在醃味上,用到類似孜然香味的秘魯香料,也有著燒烤的香氣,感覺新奇。接著的是【OSTRA ACEVICHADA】,在生蠔上面淋有青檸及墨汁泡沫,最後更在客人面前加入海鮮湯,令鮮味十足的生蠔頓時鮮上加鮮,感覺奇妙。正是一山還有一山高,新奇的組合往往可以變得更新穎。這道【NIGIRI DEL AMAZONAS】

環境裝潢得悠閒,很causal的,光線或許有點昏暗,不過坐得都幾舒服。當中更有一個壽司吧的位置,內裡站著一個超級靚仔的型廚,後來才知道那人就是大廚,又後生又靚仔,有點似效力曼城的阿古路。

這兒不會供應麵包,而是一包新鮮炸起的脆片,是蕃薯片來的,不過卻有好幾款不同的品種,初時吃起來是很香脆的,但放久了就會變得軟身,作為小吃都不錯。

先來一點開胃頭盤【ANTICUCHO】,用上的是牛心配辣粟米蓉,看似有趣的組合,味道卻十分滿合襯。牛心在醃味上,用到類似孜然香味的秘魯香料,也有著燒烤的香氣,感覺新奇。

接著的是【OSTRA ACEVICHADA】,在生蠔上面淋有青檸及墨汁泡沫,最後更在客人面前加入海鮮湯,令鮮味十足的生蠔頓時鮮上加鮮,感覺奇妙。

正是一山還有一山高,新奇的組合往往可以變得更新穎。這道【NIGIRI DEL AMAZONAS】就殺人一個措手不及,原因正是那平凡的外表,隱藏著創新的味道。表面上會見到一隻水煮鵪鶉蛋放在和牛壽司上,本來並不奇怪,但重點卻落在壽司飯到,是加入了香蕉,吃的時候與別不同,非常有趣,好吃與否就見仁見智了。

接著來的是【IKA CEVICHE】,這個簡直是非吃不可的,秘魯菜最著名的必定是醃海鮮,總會有些是非常出人意表的。以一種名叫LECHE DE TIGRE的醬汁來醃製,魚肉伯慢慢變成烹煮過的質感,帶點結實,非常有趣。同時,旁邊亦有炸魷魚,一冷一熱,一脆一爽,拼合出來的效果令人滿意。

最後的主菜就是【COCHINILLO CON TACU TACU】,即時燒乳豬及芫茜飯,乳豬烤得皮脆肉嫩,配合帶有清幽的芫茜飯來吃,本是不錯,可是偏偏又有香蕉蓉在面,感覺上始終有點奇怪。

吃到此時,大家胃口已飽,就放來了甜品的【JARDIN DE ROSA】。賣相活像一幅畫,由自家製玫瑰雪糕作主打,味道有濃厚的玫瑰香,而且滲有淡淡的奶香,配合酸酸甜甜的士多啤梨及Milk Basil,感覺非常清新,甜而不膩,好吃。

是日大家都嚐到一餐非常有趣的秘魯日本菜,雖然口味尚未習慣,但味道其實不錯的,喜歡新嘗試的朋友不妨到訪一下,應該會有意想不到的驚喜。

烤乳豬+秘魯飯 Cochinillo Con Tacu Tacu - 雖然用上本地豬肉,但味道質感都非常接近秘魯本土,皮脆肉嫰; 加入豆子的Tacu Tacu自帶咸香,搭配煎香蕉和烤乳豬非常好吃。
