It's nice to go to the food court sometimes. The other day, I happened to be next to a city super's cookedDeli. Since it was almost lunch time, I had a look round the food court and finally settled with Thai Corner. The hot stone plate Oyster Omelette with plenty of bean sprouts seemed to be most appealing. For this meal, I waited a good 15 minutes. Luckily I wasn't famished. With the time being still early, it wasn't hard to find a seat. When I picked up the food, I noticed how large it was. It
When I picked up the food, I noticed how large it was. It consisted of a bowl of rice, a cold vegetable side dish, a drink and the main dish - each of these items being of reasonable size. The pickled vegetables were a good starter to open up one's appetite. Rice combined with hot sizzling omelette with a little bit of oil was the best. Although, it could have been more delicious with harder rice. It was slightly too soft and moist. What I loved most was the plentiful bean sprouts slowly cooking under the omelette. So good! Finishing up with a good hot pomelo drink was a complete delight. For small eaters, maybe sharing this meal or asking for lesser rice wouldn't be such a bad idea. I couldn't finish and with all that food in the belly, I could have gone straight for a nap.
