天氣好的話,十分推介outdoor~餐廳氣氛好,裝修簡單舒服。野食賣相一般所以無影相,但味道喜出望外~推介黑松露鵝肝意粉~同一定要試薯條😍~好開心可以輕輕鬆鬆咁食個晚餐~

呢度係一間係西貢嘅法國隱世小餐廳,平時只開晚市。聞説這個Tasmania嘅wagyu牛扒供應商係香港只供應此間和另一間米芝蓮餐廳。必食係tenderloin rossini!用上m9和牛配一大塊羊肚菌鵝肝,medium rare 是十分合適的熟度。同行長輩想熟一點,分別點了medium 和medium well,同樣出色!靚嘅牛扒就係點煮都好得。頭盤點左cheese platter紅酒(點了兩支酒)配美食is a must!另外點了新鮮石班魚in red curry sauce.也不錯。配菜點了green beans and fries (還好)最後mangomissu蛋糕和coffee作結,mango很鮮甜!perfect late lunch/early dinner!it's a good place for romantic dinner and family fine dining gathering!一行5人,埋單每人900hkd.not cheap but totally worth it!!

和太太第二次在這裡興祝結婚周年纪念了,上次是一年前。選擇這裡的原因是因為食物和環境,去大酒店或是市區,雖然也可能找到同等質素的食物,但價格一定要一倍以上,沒有兩千元埋不了單。況且他們的環境非常不錯,很適合聊天和慶祝。今天我們點了燒帶子和大蝦沙律做前菜,帶子非常和蝦都非常新鮮,味道更是一絕。主菜我們點了一個五成熟的M9牛排,水準之高是我近這三個月以來的第一次。之後我們再點了一個火腿芝士的拼盤,配紅酒簡直就是享受。之後他們更特別為我們凖備了一個非麗的甜點去慶祝我們的週年紀念,深深感受到店主對于食物和客人的重視。我已經和太太約好下個月會再來了。

We love the food at Chez Raymond as well as his dessert. We ordered this Mangomissu for my birthday. It's not only look good and it's taste good. Unlike other cake which sometime is too rich and heavy, you order from other resturant, this is fresh, light and delicious. We have other birthday few days later. The cake was so delicious. We couldn't resist to order another one again. Highly recommended!

We found ourselves in Sai Kung on a Saturday evening, and decided to explore a bit. Eventually we settled on Chez Raymond and it was an excellent choice! This is truly a gem.......It's a small family-run establishment and it is very clear that the owners/operators care about their food and take pride in serving high-quality meals. Soooo different from the usual array of "concept" western restaurants in HK......
The ambience of the restaurant is clean and informal. White tables and chairs and candles on the outdoor tables. As it is in HK's "seaside resort" town, most people (including us) were casually dressed.
The welcome was friendly, but not effusive. We asked for a table away from the door, and the owner was happy to accommodate us.
The menu is organized around several price points, each of which includes a main course and options for 1,2,or 3 additional courses. At $390 (as I recall) for a main, appetizer and dessert, I regarded the prices as very fair.
And the food quality was outstanding! We had:
-- A creamy french asparagus soup (delicious)
-- Six escargots served on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes (the snails were a bit chewy, but the potatoes were to die for)
-- Beef Bourguignon (tender and flavorful in its wine sauce)
-- Confit de canard (cooked just right, with lovely crispy skin and tender savory meat)
The wine list was not huge but it had a nice variety of interesting choices. The owner clearly cares about what he offers his patrons. We settled on a Corbieres which gave us a top-quality tasting drinking experience at a very moderate price.
 
題外話/補充資料: There is a nice outdoor seating area (albeit on the main road). We were tempted but it was too drippy humid on the night we visited. The air-con indoor space was much more comfortable.

Beer is not bad but it is not why we are here so we asked for Raymon's recommendation , we dont really like the Sauvigon Blanc from NZ but the french one is totally different , its dry but fruity , subtle & nature in favor.

Obviously the menu has been updated , not a big change but the started - quail that i was hoping to order since last time has become the main course now which is quite disappointing , anyway , the scallop cooked with white wine caught my eye !

Here we go , scallops look bigger size than i thought , it came with asparagus and creamy sauce , no overcooked, sweet , soft and firm , however , the creamy sauce was a bit too sweet for me but not for my bf

And so , for the main course , we both ordered the 300g sirlorin steak , my bf ordered medium well and mine was medium rare , the outlook was perfect but the only bad thing is mine was ready before his so it wasnt as hot as his and the top was a bit dry as well , anyway...

after cutting the first slice and i found it stunning , u can see its still quite juicy insdie and the meat was pink which just the way i want them to cook , after a bite , u can tell the quality of the beef is not bad , the meat was tender . the herb butter adds favor as well.

for the dessert , as part of the set menu , about 5 , 6 options but there was a mystery dessert that u have to pay extra $ 50 for it , well , I was being a bit cheeky , asked the waitress for some hints about the mystery thing and she said one is macaron and the other one is a secret , Ive tried quite a lot of big brands of macaron , even had it in France but still ... cant change my opinion about it - just lots of sugar so i asked for the other one.

Wow , i was surprised with what i saw, starting from the left , was a house made lemon tart ( i really apperciated seeing this one cox it was advertisied on the blackbroad as a chef"s recommendation and Im always excitied by ' HOUSE MADE ' stuff ).

The dessert was stunning !! On the left was lemon tart ,the lemon favor is not too strong but refreshing ; to its right was villina ice-cream , molten chocolate cake which was nice and finally, an excellent lemon sorbet which i thought was tiramisu becox it was covered in coco powder ! If I had known it's a sorbet , I would've eaten it first

Found this hidden gem restaurant in Sai Kung.  I gotta say the food served here is something you don't usually find in HK.  The dishes are those from classic french bistro menu and prepared honestly as they should be.Me and my wife had the set menu (3 courses) for $390 per person.  We enjoyed the dinner through out the night.  The duck confit tasted just like those we had in Paris.  Crispy skin yet melt in your mouth.  The duck meat is mellow and flavoursome. I have to say this is not some place

I have to say this is not some place which serves fancy food items.  It is one which sticks to what food should be and gives you a taste from France.

和老公慶祝生日, 點了2個set dinner. 1個前菜是法式蝸牛, 味道不錯, 很像田螺. 份量也足.main course 點了兔肉, "鞋"到不得了. 味道非常一般, 唔似法國菜, 似地中海燒烤而且係overcooked.另1個前菜係椰菜花fusion something. 冷盤來的. 味道一般, 其實沒有什麼味道可言, 沒有什麼特別. main course 點了xx牛仔肉, 都係非常"鞋". 非常似地中海bbq overcooked, 味道已經記不起了. 伴菜ok, 但好油,唔似法國菜. 由於不能喝酒, 我們點了蘋果汁和桃汁. 2杯都很難飲. 桃汁非常"杰", 似係由"x記糖水" 買回來. 但每杯接近$40生日的緣故電話點了一個蛋糕, 是全餐飯最好吃的一道菜. 主人為我們寫上生日字樣, 不過係就咁o係塊朱古力上面夾硬刻上, 很難睇得到, 影相也沒有效果. Tiramisu $100. (法國餐廳, 但這是Tiramisu! 因此覺得這間其實本身不是法國菜吧.) 食物用料好,味道普通, presentation 唔似法國菜, 似地中海平價餐廳放埋一碟.  只是價錢遠比這個質素

和老公慶祝生日, 點了2個set dinner. 

1個前菜是法式蝸牛, 味道不錯, 很像田螺. 份量也足.

main course 點了兔肉, "鞋"到不得了. 味道非常一般, 唔似法國菜, 似地中海燒烤而且係overcooked.


另1個前菜係椰菜花fusion something. 冷盤來的. 味道一般, 其實沒有什麼味道可言, 沒有什麼特別. 
main course 點了xx牛仔肉, 都係非常"鞋". 非常似地中海bbq overcooked, 味道已經記不起了. 伴菜ok, 但好油,唔似法國菜. 


由於不能喝酒, 我們點了蘋果汁和桃汁. 2杯都很難飲. 桃汁非常"杰", 似係由"x記糖水" 買回來. 但每杯接近$40


生日的緣故電話點了一個蛋糕, 是全餐飯最好吃的一道菜. 主人為我們寫上生日字樣, 不過係就咁o係塊朱古力上面夾硬刻上, 很難睇得到, 影相也沒有效果. Tiramisu $100. (法國餐廳, 但這是Tiramisu! 因此覺得這間其實本身不是法國菜吧.)

食物用料好,味道普通, presentation 唔似法國菜, 似地中海平價餐廳放埋一碟.  只是價錢遠比這個質素貴很多.  

題外話/補充資料: 由於不太好吃, 食物presentation 也唔靚. 也沒有心情拍食物照片. Anyway, 埋單 約$960, 每人大約$480. 再簡的話, 我會去酒店食. 可能近郊地方, 有時有蚊和烏蠅飛來台上. 唯主人招乎親切熱情,而且餐廳只得2台人很安靜, 令整餐飯都算愉快.

最近香港島愈來愈多所謂的bistro 出現,這種風氣終於吹到西貢。Bistro 是家庭式、比較軽鬆的法國餐廳,價錢也比較相宜。Chez Raymond de Paris 由法國人Raymond主理,位於滿記附近,cosy corner的側面,是一間只有三十多個坐位的小bistro。餐廳裝修得十分溫馨,白牆白椅子,簡潔摩登。他們只做晚餐,套餐一律$350, 包前菜、主菜及甜品。法國晚餐來説,價錢十分親民。他們買到什麼好材料,才會決定當晚做的菜式,因此這裡沒有印刷餐牌,他們把每天轉換的餐牌寫在黑板上。我到訪那天,Raymond向我推薦酒烤帶子及黑松露與鵝肝煮蛋作前菜,紅酒煮牛肉及白酒煮青口作主菜。前菜十分精采。鮮味的帶子像乒乓球般大,煎得外微燶內微生,因此有香口及甜爽兩種口感。配合法式濃厚的醬汁,一濃一清,絕妙配搭。黑松露與鵝肝煮蛋,有點像我們的蒸蛋,但蛋黃蛋白分明,蛋黃是流心的,配上切成一大塊,口感幼滑的鵝肝和香氣四溢的黒松露油,最適合用來沾麵包。兩碟前菜好吃得令我們把碟子全清空,就算醬汁也給我們用麵包沾光了。主菜全用生鐵鍋上碟,食物熱度得以保存,十分貼心。青口用北歐來貨,隻隻約一元硬幣

主菜全用生鐵鍋上碟,食物熱度得以保存,十分貼心。青口用北歐來貨,隻隻約一元硬幣般大,鮮嫰無「渣」,天生麗質。再加上廚師出色的後天烹煮,令青口在蒜頭芫茜及白酒的輔助下,更形出色,好吃得一件不留,還跟同伴爭吃。
紅酒煮牛肉便相對有些失色了。據了解,這是餐廳的鎮店之寶,要慢煮數天才可侍客。然而,我卻不太欣賞,因為肉質有點像㷛完湯的「湯渣」,而那紅酒汁又不見得可起死回生。最後,我要跟同伴猜晴尋,猜輸的要把它幹掉。
甜品是用蘋果削成一條長片,並把它捲成玫瑰花樣,再配香草雪糕,是變了奏的蘋果批,賣相漂亮,味道不錯。而另一款甜品青檸雪芭,本配伏特加,但我不喜歡此酒,要求「走酒」。雪芭味道青爽、口感軟糯,也十分出色。
總括來説,七百七十塊錢(連加一)吃到一餐算有水準的法國晚餐,我十分滿意。店子雖小,只有一位廚師及Raymond 二人招待我們全店十二人,但無論招呼及上菜速度方面也很理想。氣氛軽鬆,吃得愉快。有機會我會再來,下次要試法式煎鴨腿!

今日係特別日子, 試下平時少食既法國菜....頭盤揀左帶子同鵝肝黑松露蒸蛋....主菜, 想試紅酒牛肉, 不過冇;揀左牛扒同鴨腿甜品有蘋果玫瑰撻同芒果脆脆總括而言, 食物份量偏少; 侍應兼職水吧, 態度親切但難以兼顧所有客人; 不知是人手問題還是法國菜是主張"慢食", 令用餐過程好漫長。不過環境搭救, 整頓飯氣氛愉快, 值得回味。
