DAILY SOUP -
- A tomato based soup with some carrot sweetness, this is more like a sludge in consistency but tasted very nice. You could almost feed your baby with this puree ! 9/10

ROTISSERIE CHICKEN WITH BREAD SALAD -
- Marinated and roasted chicken served on top of arugula, fresh grapes and pine nuts, tossed with house made croutons and Napa Valley Verjus dressing. They've a small rotisserie installed in the kitchen just for making this.
- The chicken's skin was not crispy, but the flavouring from great seasoning and the moist meat was enjoyable. It has a almost piri-piri like hotness and sourness, with a bit of herbs thrown in.
- The grapes and cherry tomatoes worked well with the chicken, together with the sweetish salad dressing. 7/10

CALIFORNIA SLIDERS WITH PORCHETTA AND GARLICKY GREENS -
- Rotisserie cooked pork loin and belly and thinly sliced, then topped with sauteed vegetables, garlic and chillies served au jus.
- This slider burger was much better than the baby ribs version served at MESA15 next door. The vegetables and pork were tasty, spiked with a bit of chilli and lime juice for that kick. I liked this a lot, its better than the Chicken above.
- Fries were a bit hard and coldish, but sprinkled with some chives and sour cream powder.
- Also comes with a ramekin of tomato salsa and a malted vinegar (?) dip for the fries.
- Overall, a very thoughtful dish and very Californian, with the tangy/spicy kick they enjoy with their big wines! 9/10

- Coffee of Caffe Latte looks crap with that shampoo foamed top, but is expected as it's made from one of those lazy Super Auto espresso machines. I didn't drink this because I ordered tea instead when I saw that small auto machine!
- The Black Tea is pretty strong here!

*****************************
I have walked past this a few times, and silly me underestimated it as it looks like another clone of those Wyndham St expats friendly bar & restaurant, where no one cares about the food much! The food here are quite unique within the HK market, and are not as simple as it seems, with the finer details in each dish also designed with consideration, and all the dishes on the menu are also suggestively paired with a type of wine. Eg. Baked Laura Chenel Goat Cheese over Roasted Piquillo Peppers - should be paired with a Sparkling wine that's light and crips, whereas, a San Francisco Cioppino seafood stew of Dungeness crab, squid, fish and mussels should be paired with a Rose or Light Reds.
