Seafood ravioli - this wasn't bad at all...the seafood sauce was probably adapted to local tastes, as it wasn't very creamy.Duck breast and fruit salad - pretty refreshing, with slices of smoked duck breast and plenty of light and yummy olive oil.Spaghetti with Parma ham - pretty decent with lots of mushrooms.Grilled half Boston lobster - absolutely nothing to complain about here...For dessert I picked serradura (木糠布甸) as I didn't like soft cheesecakes. This turned out to be an excellent choice

Grilled half Boston lobster - absolutely nothing to complain about here...

For dessert I picked serradura (木糠布甸) as I didn't like soft cheesecakes. This turned out to be an excellent choice, as the serradura was absolutely yummy.

jul 12, 08,2人來食lunch,叫咗2個2 courses set lunch + 1個a la carte : 1) 友人嘅seti) arugula & prawn salad-菜新鮮,蝦亦唔細,不俗 ii) boneless chicken stuff w/mushroom + pine nuts..........-本來有提子乾,但比我在order時走咗-應該揀咗雞嘅脾呢d嫩渦位,所以1d都唔"鞋"-煮得幾好因唔乾,有肉味,不過唔好expect喺中國雞所講嘅雞味,中間釀咗新鮮嘅菇,夠菇味-後來問waiter喺咩雞,佢話喺美國雞 2) 我嗰set i) pear & sweet corn soup-充滿粟米嘅甜味-湯面中間有1片薄的帶子,但估唔到有鮮甜味喎,good ii) sachertorte-喺奧地利嘅signature甜品-佢就modify咗個外形成1個bun形-不過中間保持住apricot jam,這個jam不太甜,亦唔會好"杰",幸好用叉按下切,仲會流動-好濃的朱古力味,夠濕度,但友人麻麻因佢唔鍾意食dark chocolate,我當然好like啦~~~3)

3) pasta alla papa
-咬口就做得唔錯,但可惜無咩鹹味,最後話番比個waiter
-waiter解釋最初我問過呢碟嘢有幾辣(因見menu寫有chili),所以可能-辣時,連埋1齊嘅鹹味都-埋,不過如果喺咁嘅話,大廚就粗心咗d喎

- 多謝友人請食飯因佢雙喜臨門,要慶祝吓............下餐my turn

- 呢間餐廳嘅老闆同tribute, bricolage 62喺同1人,所以我1早就好有興趣嚟試埋呢間,而且之前見有人寫話佢哋難食,我就唔多信,因tribute同bricolage 62都整得唔差

- 服務好細心,問清楚你想點上菜,真喺啱晒我呢d麻煩友.........於是我要求沙律同湯可以1齊上,但主菜就要食完1個還1個上,因我哋全部都喺share,甜品當然要最後先上啦。waiter好穩陣,要上菜前都問吓我哋上得未

- weekend嘅lunch好寧靜因無嘜客,所以諗住同人吹吓水,聚吓舊都唔會有壓力,好relax

Located in one of the new hip spots in town, Maison carries through that coolness with a minimalistic and lofty interior.Food quality, on the whole, is delightful and consistent. There are some surprising compositions, such as the fish-based "Lulu soup" and the multi-flavored ginger chocolate cake. Portions aren't small either, especially the salads.Service is friendly and--best of all--unpretentious with tap water served with no fuss.Overall, Maison is worth trekking a bit out of the way for.

Overall, Maison is worth trekking a bit out of the way for. A post-meal stroll back to Central makes a perfect wrap-up for a day, too.

This restaurant is owned by the same group which manages Tribute and Brocolage. I must say that I admired the minimalist white design of the small restaurant with 6-8 tables. The service was warm. But the food did not live up to my expectations. The soup had little taste and the quail i order (highly recommended by my friendly waitress) was a peice of grilled chunk out of the freezer with no taste of the french game. I hope they will improve after this initial stage of opening.
