與其說它是有地中海風味的意大利餐廳, 倒不如說他是一間地中海的fusion菜餐廳, 沒有太多意大利菜的風格, 在裝潢上用上白色和深藍色的色調, 簡單而高貴, 也令我想起著名希臘Santorini的風格. 主廚來自西班牙, 但煮食風格也不只是集中於香料的使用, 相當全面, 例如是汁醬的使用及煮食的方法, 也相當多元化. 如果想不到吃什麼, 它的Tasting Menu人均七百多元, 相當全面, 最重要是不用想太多.五道頭盤, 當中有兩道是素食, 分別是凱撒沙律和矮瓜, 矮瓜是來自西班牙的梅西亞, 比平時吃開的厚身但口感更細徵, 用上羊奶芝士和巴馬臣芝士, 甜中帶微鹹和乳香, 相當不錯. 三道肉類中的皮丸加上黑松露, 更為奢華而味道相對霸道. 反而另外兩道魚是沙甸魚和吞拿魚片, 用上醋汁及檸汁豉油, 味道配搭更好吃起來更舒服.主菜有慢煮羊肩及石斑, 前者用上炭烤爐處理預先慢煮過的羊肩, 簡單的Rosemary肉汁, 吃起來有濃濃的炭香, 羶味平和, 口感沒有一般慢煮菜式的軟溶, 層次分明. 後者外皮煎香, 肉質中庸, 在上面舖上魷魚和用上青醬, 海鮮和魚肉鮮味夠, 當然魷魚的口感也令魚肉本身的口感更豐富. 最後的蛋糕中間放入椰子雪葩, 新鮮焗起的蛋糕和冰凍的雪葩結合起來, 就是簡單的冰火感覺.查看更多

又到restaurant week今次同朋友慶生 特別簡左地中海菜新秀BasinBook左8pm 早左10分鐘到已經坐無虛席略嫌枱與枱中間距離比較近 Starter本身係signature dry aged meatball, eggplant with goatcheese同埋caesar saladChef見我地望左望隔離枱 就轉左另一樣signature smoked sardines比我地Sardines有好濃既煙燻味 配埋muscat grapes好夾好fresh 至於meatball肉味唔係太重 不過mashed potato就夠哂軟滑Main我地簡左seabass 影完相之後會debone再上 除左條魚好滑好新鮮之外 蕃茄汁都好清新最後dessert peanut coulant雖然好多人recommend我地就有少少失望 花生味同椰子味都冇想像中咁香 仲有啲漏不過overall食物環境都唔錯 會想再黎試tasting menu查看更多

❀ Basin #中環 ❀❗️香港罕有主打地中海高級餐廳 有手臂咁長嘅羊肩肉❗️——————————————————Throwback to上年10月生日慶祝嘅餐廳,當時仲係剛剛開張✨餐廳主打地中海菜式,運用地中海常見嘅白色、藍色為裝修主調,感覺簡約舒適😚除咗海鮮之外,亦有唔少for sharing嘅肉類選擇,烹調方法多數以煎、焗為主,調味簡單,保留食材本身嘅味道👌🏻.✷𝑀𝑒𝓃𝓊✷不過始終係大半年前到訪,所以而家嘅餐牌會有啲分別,以下只作參考🙈.☞ Le Foie Gras de France $150 (4/5)厚厚嘅鵝肝油脂十足,伴無花果能大大減低膩感。可以配埋香脆sourdough,口感更豐富😋.☞ Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder (for sharing) $680 (3.7/5)超大份,有成隻手臂咁粗,兩個女仔絕對食唔曬。店員先會將原隻羊肩肉呈上,然後再分割,再淋上肉汁,本身約有少許香蔥、rosemary。因為實在非常大,所以唔同部位嘅口感都會有所分別。有啲表皮會較為香脆,有啲肉質就較為軟腍肥美,不過當然都有啲部位相對鞋口🙈羊羶味唔算過於濃烈,整體不過不失,但勝在好大份。.☞ Roasted Romeo Peach $100 (3/5)最後甜品就有少少失望。釀製咗嘅香桃同罐頭桃味道有點相似,而且口感都係偏硬。仲要$100,定價較高🥺——————————————————✨整體味道: 3.6/5 ✨環境裝修: 4/5✨服務態度: 4/5✨性價比: 3.5/5✨再訪興趣: 3/5 .💞整體來講喺香港較為少見主打地中海菜式嘅餐廳,當時係為咗長嘅lamb shoulder而去,不過食咗覺得一般,整體食物唔錯,但欠缺wow factor。查看更多

📍 Basin3/F, FOCO Building, 46-48 Cochrane Street, Central Take yourself on a journey along the Mediterranean coast at Basin, where they serve culinary delights heavily influenced by Italian, Spanish and French cuisines.My personal favorites of the night were their smoked eggplant with goat cheese, their perfectly seasoned grilled tiger prawns and the dessert named “Peanut Coulant”, which was a peanut butter lava cake topped with a scoop of coconut sorbet (wish I could post a video of their flowing peanut lava here!).The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and is definitely a good place for celebrations or date night. 打算去中環試新菜,所以book 左呢間主打地中海菜式嘅西餐廳。講起地中海,其實係環繞地中海沿岸地區,包含着許多歐洲國家,包括西班牙、法國、意大利、希臘等。因為地中海有著豐富嘅漁業和海運資源,所以好多人都以為地中海菜只有海鮮,其實仲有肉類。不過我同老公都鍾意食海鮮多啲,所以今晚都係主打海鮮類菜式。位於中環嘅FOCO Building,有唔同嘅餐廳。Basin 位於3樓,一出電梯,就係reception,我哋係今晚嘅第一台客人,manager都好熱情招呼。一傾之後,先發現原來餐廳已經開咗一年,manager 係Georgia人而主廚係來自西班牙,二位共同開咗呢間餐廳。餐廳本身唔大,係open bar 嘅形式,裝修風格偏向簡單,主要用上白色同地中海藍色,感覺好舒服,感覺似置身地中海。第一次黎嘅關係,當然等Manager 推介:頭盤:自家製鬆脆麵包,再配上自家製anchovy 鯷魚牛油🧈配搭好新鮮,第一次食想用鯷魚做嘅牛油,味道好鮮Dénia red prawn carpaccio - 來自西班牙🇪🇸嘅極品,亦係地中海最著名既紅蝦之一。呢度菜再配上green apple 同橄欖油,食落去肉質鮮美、口感都好豐富,非常之鮮甜度較高,極力推介Grill octopus呢度菜雖然係燒,不過味道出奇地清新,可能因為配合左橄欖同檸檬嘅關係。不過八爪魚有啲部份燒得過熟,但係整體嚟講都唔錯Dry-aged meatball老公堅持要試呢個,我本身對於meatball 好一般,因為一般都夾雜咗好多肥肉同軟骨。不過manager 介紹呢個菜用上優質嘅牛肉並長時間風乾熟成,所以好重牛肉味,亦冇油膩同埋騷味,配合打成cream 狀嘅椰菜花蓉放底,以及黑松露作點綴,令到口感同味覺都好多層次,推介Truffle zucchini flower松露南瓜花 - 地中海非常受歡迎美食,manager 介紹主廚將南瓜花炸至金黃色,最後淋上松露醬同goat cheese 而成。第一次食呢一道菜,南瓜花炸得非常鬆軟,外層的麵糊非常香脆,而南瓜花本身帶點苦澀,所以旁邊亦放上自家製嘅honey。但我本身唔太喜歡騷味好重嘅羊芝士,所以我對呢道菜一般,反而老公就好鍾意。所以都適合鍾意食 goat cheese 嘅人士Fish of the day - Ocean Sea Bass 今日新鮮運到嘅地中海海鱸魚重大約1公斤,喺西班牙同法國海岸捕捉。鱸魚煮得肉質鮮嫩,口感非常柔軟,配合埋湯汁更加係非常鮮味獨特。呢個湯汁真係要特別介紹,叫aquapazza,需要慢煮五個小時結合多種嘅食材包括白酒、意大利蕃茄和橄欖油等煮成一個非常之濃郁嘅湯汁。最後我哋成條魚食晒之外,亦都飲晒啲湯汁,如果有幾塊 toast 連埋啲湯汁一齊食就一流甜品:peanut coulant Manager 話呢個係佢 favorite dessert,所以我哋就叫咗呢個。仲送咗兩杯 lemon gin,用上新鮮意大利檸檬🍋好清新好飲peanut coulant 法式甜點花生布丁,外層係巧克力蛋糕,入邊係流心花生餡。花生餡口感和味道都非常獨特,配合上層嘅椰子雪葩,中和花生餡嘅甜味,認真驚艷,絕對值得一試今日呢一餐飯都算係味蕾上嘅享受,冇食Tasting Menu但好似感受到餐廳為我哋度身訂造嘅菜式一樣。餐廳每一個月會轉少部份嘅菜式,保留受歡迎嘅,汰弱留強,適合大家食厭咗意大利菜,又想試吓有特色嘅地中海菜人士。查看更多

餐廳由Erik Kirakozov同廚師Antoni Bernabeu創立✨ 裝潢寬敞舒適 兩位之前都喺pirata group做過一段時間  地中海菜幾適合而家咁熱嘅天氣☀️ 麵包配嘅anchovy butter都幾特別  非常喜歡前菜smoked sardines配ajo blanco 肥美嘅煙燻沙甸魚撈埋厚身嘅香蒜杏仁汁一齊食🤤 完全停唔到口 亦好啱餸酒🥂  另一道前菜cured tuna lomo用上新鮮赤身吞拿魚 伴蔥油食 惹味得嚟感覺幾健康😂  一定要留肚食peanut butter心太軟🥜  質地軟綿 花生醬味超濃郁超好食😋查看更多

地中海菜?很多人其實不太清楚什麼叫地中海菜。其實地中海就在幾個國家的周邊,包含了義大利、法國、西班牙與希臘等。基本上吃很多橄欖油啊,很多新鮮的蔬菜、海鮮等。大廚是西班牙人,他做的菜由其是海鮮,特別的厲害!那味道、用的材料就告知大家他們做的出品很高質!甜品很法式,很漂亮,例如那個Classic French Madeleines 經典法式甜品!還有那慢煮牛肉的臉頰,哇!很好吃!價錢:不太便宜,但也不是太貴!品質是米芝蓮素質。很喜歡這裡的菜,中午的時候比較靜,因為現在還沒有太多人認識他們吧!整個場就是我們的了!聽說他們的價錢六月調整一下,應該是跟大眾化一點吧。查看更多

Have appointment with my daughter to have dinner at The Basin. We start at 6.30 in the evening. Not many customer that time. Staff name Louis recommend food for us . We accept and place order. The first dish come with ‘smoke sardine’ It give me surprise , the taste of the sauce quite special . The second dish’ grilled octopus ‘ gave me surprise again because the meat of the octopus so soft and the sauce is so special too. We order’ chicken supreme’’ clam pasta’ and many other dishes. After finish all the food the owner Mr Eric come and talk with us. He is Spanish buy but he look like French. He can manage the restaurant very well. Wishing the restaurant doing good business . We booked the table in the last minute when the original plan changed as someone got Covid. We’re seated at the bar where we’re watching all the activities in the kitchen. Indeed it’s enjoyable to see how the dishes looked before we ordered when they’re served to other guests. The crews were friendly and made good suggestions to meet our appetite. The environment was cozy and guests were enjoying the Friday night. Heard from the Chef that there would be new menu around CNY. The music volume was on purpose turning up a bit so that the guests could freely talk and laugh without disturbing other tables. 查看更多

Dinner for 4.Wine list not bad. Ordered a bottle of Burgundy white. Not a big menu. Was very interested to try the smoked eggplant and zucchini flower which unfortunately were both unavailable. Here’s what we had.Sour dough with an anchovies butter and olive oil. Anchovies butter was excellent but came in such a tiny portion we had to ask for seconds. Portobello Mushrooms Carpaccio- thinly sliced, topped with chunks of grapefruit, orange, avocado, olives and sun dried tomato. Interesting balance of flavors- my favorite dish of the night. Tuna tartare- marinated with citrus mayonnaise, capers, chive oil and lime zest. Served with pieces of wafer thin toast on the side. Maybe the toast was too crispy- didn’t seem to go well together.Grilled Octopus with Chimichurri (sauce made with parsley and red pepper), black olives bits and blops of sweet potato. Octopus was crispy and tender. Also an interesting balance of flavors.Smoked Sardines in Ajoblanco (Spanish cold soup with almonds, garlic and bread) served with drips of balsamic vinegar and Muscat grape. Good.Spring Chicken from Italy, withChimichurri and chicken jus on the side. Chicken itself was tender and sufficiently well flavored- didn’t have to add the sauce at all.Catch of the day- baked sea bass. Server deboned and deskinned table-side and added some clams. Clams were fresh and sweet.Side: potato Mille Feuille. Too soft. Dessert: Pavlova with red berries sauce. Loved it. Orange Granita with cream and orange zest. Tasteless. Basically tasted of cream with super watered-down citrus juice. Either the oranges used were not in season or we shouldn’t have dug into the pavlova first. Seemed the latter was untrue, as he who did not try the pavlova also found it tasteless. In summary: interesting repertoire of appetizers; nice overall balance of flavors (save for the orange at the end). Good service. Bill came to around $800 pp. Quite good value for money.查看更多
