We were a group of 8 celebrating 2 birthdays and a a farewell. The place was empty when we arrived so I expected the service to be pretty quick, but most of the staff stood around talking and it took 15+ minutes just to get drinks. We had a set dinner suggested by the head chef. Starters - garlic prawns and bruschetta (delicious)- beef carpaccio between mozzarella (wow, so good!)Mains- Ham and pineapple pizza (great crispy base)- salmon pizza (interesting! but I prefer fish-free pizza)- spaghetti

Starters
- garlic prawns and bruschetta (delicious)
- beef carpaccio between mozzarella (wow, so good!)
Mains
- Ham and pineapple pizza (great crispy base)
- salmon pizza (interesting! but I prefer fish-free pizza)
- spaghetti with fresh tomatoes (great comfort food)
- penne with lamb (I'm not a big fan of lamb, but this was quite good)
- grilled trout with spinach (perfectly cooked and incredibly fresh)
Dessert
- selection of gelato and sorbets
- creme brulee
- panacotta
- tiramisu
- chocolate pudding
(All delicious - the pistachio gelato was my favourite)
There was a lot of food and it was all very good.
The chef came out to say hi at one point, and then we realised he was serving us as the wait staff seemed to have disappeared or just decided to ignore our table.
The chef even had to change our plates which seemed very strange. The poor guy must have been exhausted.
I would definitely go back for the food, but quite honestly, they need more professional front of house staff.
The bill came to about HKD2500 which between 8 of us was amazingly good value, especially given all the food we had. I think we got a special deal as we had asked the chef to come up with a set menu in advance. And we brought our own wine.
