尋晚成班同事係九龍城搵野食, 心血來潮想食中菜,見香港人家門高斗大, 又有位坐, 咁就跟舖頭伙記入客房搵食坐低之後, 伙記招呼周到, 茶水俱備房入面景觀無特別, 於是就睇下食乜好大家無乜心水, 於是揀左D招牌菜雞肉質地稍為乾身, 味道唔錯, 真係有雞味HA蛋包蝦仁夠香! 同埋有蘿蔔清湯底, 石鍋上台, 熱辣辣~~欖角味道唔錯, 味道似京都骨椒鹽比較重口味~琵琶蝦經過油炸, 乾身之餘蝦味略略流失清蒸就掂啦! 新鮮清甜, 值得再回味~~本身SIZE夠晒大隻, 但好似蒸過龍@@, 都算鮮甜OK~哈密瓜夠甜多汁, 士多啤梨賣相不俗, 係有D酸仲點左條魚同紅酒, 但唔記得影相..........總括黎講食晚飯都幾好, 食得出用料唔錯, 值得一試~

OK~哈密瓜夠甜多汁, 士多啤梨賣相不俗, 係有D酸

仲點左條魚同紅酒, 但唔記得影相..........
總括黎講食晚飯都幾好, 食得出用料唔錯, 值得一試~

My dad was visiting from overseas so my wife and I decided to try some seafood.Prefering to treat him to a nicer and cleaner place we decided on this restaurant near our house. The decor was very localised and older as in the early 70s style chinese restaurants. We tried the set for 2 at HKD$358 + 3 large bottles of St Miguel Beers.The set was very good value as it had : a. My dad was visiting from overseas so my wife and I decided to try some seafood.

Prefering to treat him to a nicer and cleaner place we decided on this restaurant near our house.

The decor was very localised and older as in the early 70s style chinese restaurants.

We tried the set for 2 at HKD$358 + 3 large bottles of St Miguel Beers.

The set was very good value as it had :
a. Steam chingyi fish
b. Soya sauce steam scallop - with shell
c. House Vegetables
d. Traditional Shark fins with crab meat

We added a bowl of shark fins/crab meat for additional HKD$68 + ordered an additional dish called the steam prawns in glutinous rice..

Boy!! all the dishes were literally - 'out of this world' effect.

All dishes retained the traditional Cantonese steaming style which was very rich in taste, totally fresh and very home cooked. Best was the shark fins .. very traditional and bountiful in taste, with lumps of sharkfins although the portions pf crab meat was rather stingy . Next was the steam fish which was worth every bit of cooking, with soya sauce aroma penetrated every bite of the soft and bouncy fish flesh....the fish did not die in vain but rather in glorious cooking.............hehehe..


The scallop were steamed to perfection ...well blended and interwoven with the rice noodle and splashed with appropriately garnished garlic...

The ala carte - fresh prawn in glutinuous rice was unexpectedly small in portion. It was still very tasty, athough the glutinous rice was albeit salty. The prawns were very fresh although in my greed, I had felt that there could have been more prawns or bigger prawns...


Anyway the portions were more than sufficient and we ate a very fulfilled dinner.

The dessert as usual was on the house..it was black glutinous rice in red bean paste. Back in Singapore, it would have been malay style with coconut milk being added. But in this traditional Cantonese style, it was without the coconut milk and it was delicious except that I felt, it was not sufficiently thick and was more liquid.

Lastly, I was offerred my total bill of the note at HKD$538

貴妃雞--雞皮晶瑩且雞肉嫩滑,雞味不俗!五人吃一隻雞實覺吃力,唯得打包收場.

帶子珊瑚蚌蒸豆腐--一客六件的蒸豆腐,置面的帶子及珊瑚蚌彈牙味鮮,以豉汁豆腐襯托,味道清和!

粟米斑塊--僅數塊的斑塊乾涸如柴,熬人的斑塊!

芥蘭炒腊肉--份量同樣迷你的炒芥蘭被腊肉潤澤不少,油水十足!質帶爽脆,腊肉之香未能逼入菜莖中,似乎有點貌合神離...

金銀蛋菠菜--鹹蛋及皮蛋皆未能為菠菜提味,且份量吝嗇,苟且之作.

涼瓜煎蛋--味甘的涼瓜跟僅熟的蛋角味道匹配,非涼瓜類的我亦能淺嚐!

椒鹽尿蝦--體型肥碩的尿蝦蝦膏不少,勝在肉質結實彈口!

泥鯭粥--鮮甜沒魚腥的粥底,稠度剛好.泥鯭自身的鮮味亦猶存.

另一失分處,乃其上菜速度頗慢,三催四請一眾菜式方被端上,人滿為患之過!

六百多元的晚餐,以貴妃雞及椒鹽尿蝦作賣點的館子!

豉汁蒸蟶子皇 (6 隻): 見佢落鬼死咁多豆豉, 心已涼了一截, 唯有撩開先食, 點知 d 蟶子係蒸得嚴重過火, 第一隻食落勁硬, 第二隻好少少但仍然幾韌, 亦絕對唔係「爽脆」; 口感絕差, 連味道都唔得, 又話新鮮貨? 又乾又無鮮味的!
呢壇嘢係我食過煮得最差的蟶子, 絕對算得上難食, 10 個 thumbs down!


免費的蒜蓉粉絲蒸鮑魚仔 (每位一隻) 就好食得多, 蒸得剛好, 彈牙鮮甜, 配上蒜蓉粉絲, 唔錯.

花膠北菇一品煲:「花膠」只有面頭嗰一兩小撮米白色嘢, 食落黏糯無味; 花菇大大隻好厚肉, 味道亦香, 叫做最好食; 鵝掌入味軟腍, 但醬汁幾水汪汪, 帶點「酸酸叔叔」, 絕對稱唔上好食.


花雕蛋白蒸本地大肉蟹: 如常最好食係 d 蛋白, 雖然蒸到皺晒皮「蜂巢」一樣, 但食落充滿蟹汁的甜及酒香, 空口食 / 送飯一樣好食
隻蟹幾肉地, 肉實又甜; 蟹膏其實都有 d, 以肉蟹嚟講質素亦算係咁.

蒜蓉炒白菜仔: 無期望之下, 呢個又比想像中好, 夠鑊氣, 食落爽脆惹味; 唯一唔好, 應該就係碟底的一攤油


仲有糖水送, 是日係「南瓜西米露」: 好熱, 好香椰汁味, 甜度剛好, 粒粒軟糯的南瓜就無乜南瓜味, 你話佢係蕃薯我都信 @_@ 不過整體幾好食, 成為全餐飯唯一值得讚的一味.

食物一般, 招呼就應驗了「新店員工特別生手」; 環境就同前身差不多, 係光猛一點, 檯檯櫈櫈又密一點, 所以坐得迫一點咁囉.

埋單每人約 $185, 食物質素拍得住我最不喜歡的稻香集團 (味道其實只 2.5 分), 我覺得唔抵食, 亦未必會再嚟了.

題外話... 叫自己做「超級漁港」, 又用稻香集團常見的「紅雞」餐具, 其實佢同稻香有無關係的? 抑或又係 passing off?

找香港人家的資料, 可是找不到, 這間新店真的很新呢, 連 openrice 都 沒有update!地址應該係九龍城辣蟹的位置, 因為把地址打入搜索, 找到的卻是結了業的九龍城辣蟹晚飯到了這家新店, 叫香港人家, 一家人便打算試試! 可能新開的關係, 價錢都比較拭, 像一條斑都只係九十八蚊, 有點"平"的感覺 條魚唔細條的, 都有成呎長架, 味道ok, 可能係養殖魚, 魚肉不夠鮮甜, 但薑蔥豉油味道還可以的幾遁小菜都ok, 炸豆腐係五味之中最好的, 鮑魚鴨掌水準一般, 鴨掌的味道不夠好新開的店, 可能唔係太多人知, 食客不多!
