揸車去山旮旯地方真係好好☺️幾中意揸車(只限係搵啱路嘅情況)呢間係朋友話佢學車嘅時候發掘到嘅餐廳😹工廈果然有好多神秘美食🤣
Calamari肉質幾彈牙 炸粉亦都唔係好厚😗沙律好食!中意呑拿魚配紫菜呢個組合😛不過我覺得佢個吞拿魚麻麻 唔夠新鮮又有啲筋 個鴨髀都幾好食煮得都幾冧 個皮炸得好脆 不過嫌佢有肉質有少少乾身 薯蓉都算滑😋
整體來講覺得嘢食係幾好食嘅 餐廳裝修俾人一種好休閒好似喺屋企嘅感覺 不過我覺得價錢有少少偏貴(呢個價錢我覺得可以搵到啲更抵食又好食嘅嘢)不過佢每碟都幾大份 食完都好飽🤣

I was pleasantly surprised to find my way to artichoke. It's the freshest restaurant I have dined at in a while in Hong Kong. The owners have transformed a warehouse into this warm, open space populated with eclectic decor. It ties in perfectly with the urban chic vibe. What's more? They have a massive, sun-flooded terrace overlooking South China Sea. 
Our server was polite and friendly. We were seated within minutes and handed a menu carefully bound to a block of wood. It's these little details that really bring out the personality of the establishment. Their menu was extensive. everything from steaks to burgers and sandwiches, pastas, rissotos and pizzas. 
We ordered a Fish & Chips and a Rib eye steak. Food was brought out without any delays and the meal was fabulous. I'm very picky about my steaks and I must commend the chef on a job well done!
I recommend this place to anyone who is bored of regular restaurants and is looking for a different ambiance and experience. 
題外話/補充資料: They told me they have a new summer promo rolling out soon as well as a brunch menu!

We were so surprised when we went there for tasting, the hospitality and enthusiasm for the food and event blew us away,  We were able to try a bit of everything we wanted from the menu, even opened one bottle each of   the red, white and prosecco for us. We could see  was just simply how happy she was that  we loved the food and happy with their choice of drinks and chose the venue for our wedding.  Leading upto the wedding Maryann and her team were so helpful in helping to provide bus hire quotes and        also accommodate changes to the number of people and also helping to make time so we could come to the venue to measure things for decorations etc.  On the day everything ran so smoothly again with Maryann and her team accommodating us in every way and just helping to make sure that we had a memorable and joyful day.  This place is perfect if you want both in and outdoor space, cool industrial feeling, awesome service and foodand if your looking for a cool place to go and have lunch or dinner with a unique atmosphere look no further than Artichoke

My husband and I were around Ap Lei Chau the other day and decided to whip out our phones after getting a little rumble in our tummies. Got there in no time and found ourselves a parking spot right outside the building among the ample parking space available (you can also park in the building). Took the lift up to the 3rd and upon entering through the wooden green doors of the restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised - here we were in an industrial building and greeted by Artichoke [Canteen], a place overflowing with charming décor and homemade furniture highlighted by the use of wood. The restaurant is connected to an art gallery that they use as a space for events and if you feel like going for a walk you can even check out their spacious outdoor terrace and be pleasantly greeted by beautiful views of the South China Sea.

After doing a brief tour, we quickly sat down and made our order. The restaurant crowd seemed to be mostly expats and we can see why this place appeals to them; spacious and charming, not your typical Central/Soho restaurant setting with soothing music playing in the background. There's a wide selection of international dishes on Artichoke [Canteen]'s menu including this Boston Live Mussels dish for $138. The unique presentation made it look like a plant but it tasted out of this world. Mussels were super fresh and the tomato broth took in the flavour of the mussels and parsley making it very savoury; it went with the baguette pieces with olive oil all too perfectly. There could be more broth on this dish as we were left with excess bread after (though we might’ve gulped on more broth than we should’ve).

Feeling like seafood today, on top of mussels we ordered the Roasted Tuna Salad for $128. The rockets, pumpkin and the tuna went well with the yuzu dressing. Overall, I would say a pretty good salad.

We’ll surely come back for the Boston Live Mussels and try out the other dishes we missed out on this time, maybe with more friends. Definitely recommended!

在海怡工貿逛累了,不想走太遠,只想找附近的餐廳,居然發現這家意外驚喜。在隔壁的工廠大廈里,大廈翻新過,大堂很漂亮,餐廳里自然原生態的風格,老闆收藏了不少泰國運來的古傢具,搭配各種工業風格的配飾,格外清新。餐廳其實面積很大,有一個自己的Gallery和戶外花園,定期可以舉辦活動,看得出假日這裡很有人氣。Chris服務貼心又周到,今天的Special list是新到的新鮮鱈魚和蜆,鱈魚真的非常滑嫩爽口,尼泊爾大廚有保留海鮮原有的鮮甜味道,菜品都味道不錯,價格也很OK。想到以後可以漫步海邊,看完美美的服飾與家品,來這個幽靜又舒適的餐廳來飽餐一頓。週末又一個好去處!

Chris服務貼心又周到,今天的Special list是新到的新鮮鱈魚和蜆,鱈魚真的非常滑嫩爽口,尼泊爾大廚有保留海鮮原有的鮮甜味道,菜品都味道不錯,價格也很OK。

We were surprised to hear rave like music upon our arrival (but not too loud) and it felt like we had just joined an underground invite only dance party. Artichoke has nice and interesting decour, it is open planned and spaceous, it has a nice looking clean kitchen, there is interesting art everywhere, and it had an electric vibe that is rare in Hong Kong.

We were seated straight away and took in the atmosphere of mostly teenagers milling around art gallery space and also admired the open fire blazing on the outdoor terrace. There was a small bar on the terrace with tables. 

We asked our friendly waiter about some drinks, which he had no idea about. We finally ordered some delicious Young Master beer (which was brewed in the building across the street), and we were asked to pay for the beers before we even ordered our food. This semed a little strange and inconvienent, but we did so anyway. On top of that, we were given drink tickets, and were told we had to go outside and collect our beer ourselves. We began to seriously question the restaurant when we returned to our table and another waiter brought us the beer we initially ordered. The extra beers were taken away - but the staff obviously have some internal communication problems.

We then ordered our food, two pizzas and a bowl of french fries. We were again asked to pay for this immediately - which we did - and we were left astonished when the waiter collected the cash, and then reached across the table and picked up the change from the beer order and pocketed it! I called out to him but he just kept on walking. It was only $20, but it was not his. I am sure he thought it was a tip, but it wasn't, it was my money. I took a deep breath and let it go - but the restaurant was just getting plain weird at this stage.

Some police then arrived and were talking to the manager near our table for some time, and then left. This added to the interesting and weird nature of our evening there.

The food arrived quite quickly, and was fresh and delicious looking. We ordered french fries, an avacardo pizza and a funghi pizza. The pizzas were $120 each and were a very good size. Two pizzas between 4 people was plenty - so it is really good value.

The pizza base was really good, thin and crispy, but not overcooked - perfect. The toping was also good, but definitely lacked seasoning. The avacardo was perfectly ripe, but there wasn't much of it on the pizza. I thought the mushroom pizza was good, but my friends thought the mushrooms were out of a can.

This place has lots of potential, and I wish them all the best. The menu (although a little confusing) is healthy and mostly vegetarian which I liked. The food was fresh and delicious, but they have a lot of work to do with their systems and customer service. 

It has the potential to be a hip happening place once the MTR line opens up out there.

我相信沒什麼人會跑到鴨脷洲的!! 誰叫我上班的地點就在這裡,多數是帶飯,因為連食肆都真的不多,不會想由公司去到海怡食,超不方便!! 竟然最近被我發現公司對面的商廈有一家餐廳,一邊是放油畫,一邊是餐廳。Wood Oven Roasted Spring Chicken $188 等待了半小時才到,差點被餓暈。以木的厚砧板放上食物。所以雞的油流到整張枱上,雞是一整隻上的!! 沒有儀態的我用手吃,雞肉超嫩滑,連雞胸雞背都很香口,每一處都熟得剛口,沒嘗過這樣超讚的雞。

估唔到係工業大廈入面都會有一間甘雅緻既餐廳。佢既裝修格局都好靚,好似置身外國之中。佢入面既waiters 都係外國人,所以風格好好。 嗌左一個 linguine ,海鮮味好足,意粉好好食而且有好多海鮮料十足。但係佢既服務態度雖然唔錯 但係waiters 好善忘好似有d過份得閒。 仲叫左個salad,佢個醋都幾好食,但係整體味道黎講唔太好,咖啡都沖得幾好飲但我叫左個橙汁佢話係concentrate 但我唔係太覺。

Atmosphere: rather empty which fine, music a bit loud, nice interior but it would gain to feel a bit cleaner / tidier. Chaotic piles of old magazines (of the free type) are not adding anything. Table is woblly.
Staff: smiley and friendly before going back to a rather "neutral" mode. Waitress was mainly stationed at the table (that should normally be occupied by a guest) to browse the net, to a point where it's difficult to get her attention when needed.
Food Options: menu pages are falling apart and are a bit “grey”, printing a fresh one would be rather easy. The vegetarian burger is not available. Big finger prints on cutlery.
What we ordered:
- Signature Quinoa Salad: artichokes at the top are probably from a jar. The quinoa is fine, seasoning is just OK. 115HK$.
- Fresh Pesto Mushroom Tortellini: after a few minutes wait we are being told that the fresh pesto is not available and that if we wish not to wait too long we can choose the “normal” option. Fine. It tastes ok but the pesto is coming from a jar.
- Greca Pizza: the base is probably pre-made if not ready made. The tomato paste is tasteless and watery. The cheese has no taste. 136 HK$.
At that point we were not really expecting too much from the desserts - but we were told there were none available anyway as they would be “made fresh for tomorrow”.
Espresso to conclude. The fancy coffee machines on display at the bar were not used and a micro cup came from the kitchen instead. Taste was alright but it was more like a small americano. As we were waiting for the coffee (about 10 minutes) - the kitchen said that the “fresh" tiramisu was available and “made fresh for tomorrow”. We skip.
Total: 600HK$ for two including a glass of wine (quite nice). Not worth it.

2) Quinoa Salad with Arichokes, 這個是我很期待的, 因很少餐廳會供應,
藜麥(Quinoa) 是近年新興食物 (是一種能提供完全蛋白全的食物,這意味著吃了他, 可少吃其他肉類), 當然價錢也不便宜. 雅枝竹也是很名貴的食材, 想知多些, 請自己google 下啦, 舖成圓餅形的藜麥, 再放上雅枝竹. 看上去已覺得很美. 平時在家煮飯時, 我只是用一個很少份量的藜麥, 未試過用咁大份量的藜麥.
配上olive oil, 一啖一啖的放進口中, 真的很滿足, 藜麥中放了一些切得很幼細的青紅椒碎, 香味提升了, 口感也增加了, 一吃, 已把這個味道記在腦中

Chicken burger 週圍都有得食, 質素不過不失, 吃後又難以留下深刻印象, 這個不同, 件雞排係burger 的靈魂, 雞味好濃, 如新鮮雞一樣, 烤好的薯角放了些黑椒和鹽, 薯角很有薯仔味, 不是一般連所快餐店所媲美的.

), 個批好香芝士味, 每一口滲著蕃茄味, 即烘即食, 份外香脆

用膳期間, 遇到一位健談開朗的男仕,他的工作與咖啡息息相關
食物水準之高, 出乎我意料之外, 枱與枱之間很寛敞, 是個三五知己聚會的好地方....

後記: 回家翻查資料, 才知道那位男仕是位國際咖啡專家, 曾聯同聖雅各福群會開辦 「咖啡沖調師專業證書課程 」, 真是幸會, 幸會

我們叫了兩杯熱咖啡,用大杯子盛的,與這兒無拘無束的感覺很配合。咖啡的質素很高,味道香濃而不苦澀,我亦喜歡其回甘味。其實,單看餐廳內一部舊式磨豆器和一張咖啡調配師獎狀,已令我對這兒的咖啡有相當信心。

雖說要瘦身,但我始終忍不住叫了一客甜品,雖然只有軟心朱古力蛋糕供應,不過其賣相不只吸引,而且蛋糕鬆軟,朱古力味道香濃,甜度適中,絕對是配咖啡的佳品,幸好沒有錯過。

餐廳內還有一個偏廳展示藝術品,當日展示了一個法國畫家約十幅的作品。我欣賞了一會,感覺相當輕鬆寫意,有一個職員更用心向我介紹畫家的背景和風格。我沒想過在工廈,也可以愉快地hea一個周末下午呢!

想不到在鴨脷洲的工業區中除了紅酒廠外,還有這類特式餐廳他們的餐牌食物都是主打有機食品,而且他們有一系列古董意大利咖啡烘培機,磨豆機,咖啡機。一半是餐廳, 一半是畫廊,老闆可能是藝術家來的吧餐廳部份放左好多部古董咖啡機,亦有烘焙機,老闆仲即場沖了咖啡比我地飲。呢度的咖啡糖都係用有機糖! ,味道不錯由於之前掛住食,唔記得影前菜及主菜,所以只有少量照片。

We were pleasantly surprised with the flavourful dishes at Artichoke Canteen.  The split pea soup was full of fresh, rich taste without any dairy or gluten.  The vegetarian sandwich my husband ordered earned rave reviews from him (surprising since he is generally hard to impress).  He would love to have something like that available for lunch in Central.  It came with a generous portion of thick cut crunchy fries and salad.  I had the grilled chicken which I shared with my two kids.  They both d
