This is a slightly above average Shanghainese restaurant. I've been here twice and have tried several things. Below are some of the dishes I have tried.Starters Drunken pigs' trotters - These are very crunchy (and a good source of collagen too). The texture is good and they are not too 'drunken'. This is a slightly above average Shanghainese restaurant. I've been here twice and have tried several things. Below are some of the dishes I have tried.

Starters

Drunken pigs' trotters - These are very crunchy (and a good source of collagen too). The texture is good and they are not too 'drunken'. If you like the texture of jellyfish and the taste of drunken chicken, you'd probably like this as well.

Jellyfish with shredded chicken - This is pretty good. The jellyfish is not too hard or soft and the sesame sauce is not overwhelming. I don't understand the presentation though. It's kind of hard to get the stuff at the bottom of the bell pepper though.

Mains
Roasted duck - The roasted duck looks amazing but it looks better than it tastes. There is nothing special about this duck. Some of the meat can actually be quite chewy too.

Chicken soup with wonton - The soup has lots of chicken taste. The wonton has a good balance of meat and vegetables in it. I would recommend this soup.

Lettuce wrap with minced duck - This is a dish that uses the leftover duck, otherwise you can ask them to cook the duck in soup instead. The minced duck is cooked nicely.

Fried scallops with lotus root - The scallops and the brown sauce go well together. Lotus root is crunchy.

Dessert

Tofu Fa - Comes in little wooden pots and looks very cute, which is the only reason why I ordered it. However, the tofu fa is not smooth at all and is a bit too hard, making its texture exactly like tofu! It also only comes cold. Not recommended.

Fried egg white - The fried egg white itself is no different from other Shanghainese restaurants. The only special thing is that it comes with strawberry sauce and icing sugar, which does give it a nice twist.

主菜, 薺菜多寶魚, 很特別, 起魚肉用薺菜煮, 很鮮甜, 魚身連頭尾酥炸, 十分香口, 大家都爭住食.

麵食點了冷麵, 醬料有8款, 來一個混醬, 美味.

甜品拔絲香蕉, OK.

配合美麗的維港中環夜景, 其實可以輕取90分.

可惜服務一大敗筆, 不是招呼不好, 只是我不小心打翻一個壺蓋, 摔破了, 竟然有經理黑面對待, 還要捧上加回新蓋的壺時, 放得離我遠遠的 ~~~~ 才一個壺蓋, 不如索性用膠餐具吧.

原先上去食E 間餐廳係因為見到個水牌顯示有片皮鴨食,點知上到去不但因為d片皮鴨售罄而冇得食,而且D waiter 仲話要預訂,攪到我地特別係好鍾意食皮鴨ge 爸爸好失望。
總括而言,
味道:一般,因為以上8款菜色,本人認為只有4款係E 餐飯食得過GE 。
環境:可以,只可惜我地坐得5近海景,否則一定好。
服務:差劣,由於以上對該餐廳GE SERVICE 不滿,加上D waiter AND waitress GE 不屑態度 ,本人只好給予E 個評分分數(1分)
衛生:不錯
抵食:不係好抵食,雖然菜色外觀的確符合menu上ge圖片 ,但味道同想像中就甘好多差好遠,不係唔值e 個價。

年廿九本身打算和朋友食西餐因為怕太多人團年點知試打去問問居然有位所以就去試一試其實味道都唔錯 (熱食時)但因為朋友遲到咗成個鐘叫咗菜好快D餸就到齊等咗好耐D餸都涷晒朋友又未黎所以都唔係全部試到佢的真味道

- 跟著有湯,太多粉很厚. 打九折
- 烤鴨,皮不脆,肉不酥。失敗
- 上烤鴨皮,不跟手上麵皮,要叫才有。失败。
- 上芝痲燒餅,厚實不脆,皮不香口。失败。
- 北京水餃灑葱花上碟,第一次見。古怪。
- 烤羊腩跟酸甜醬,似泰式多D。古怪。

吃罷。埋單 $1600....問老父意見,只得四字:不三不四...

所以...京菜館... 不易做

同屋企人提早團年,選了這裡,貪其海景及老字號"滬江"集團經營,應該不會有錯吧... 原先想叫8人烤鴨套餐,可惜是日北京烤鴨賣光(原來要預先訂的麼????),喜歡吃烤鴨的妹妹已有點失望,惟有散叫啦(抱歉沒有抄下菜名,盡量形容吧),如下:1) 帶子賽旁蟹: 配有帶子味道不錯,蛋白很香2) 油淋雞半隻: 不嗜雞的我也覺得好味,可能是醬汁的關係吧3) 魚香茄子: 這個味道很怪,不像平常的,有點怪怪的甜味,且太油膩4) 煲仔飯 (伴雞): 味道可以,飯蠻香5) 鐡板牛肉: 看上去比吃下去好,鐡板燒的香味很好,不過吃下去肉不夠熱 6) 西蘭花+玉子豆腐(名字真的不記得了),: 賣相很好,玉子豆腐放上XO醬,不過其實是一道 非常普通的菜7) 醬汁骨: 本人實在不喜歡這個味道 不過在場的男人都把它吃光光8) 炒四季豆: 味道一般9) 竹笙炒?? Suddenly felt like having Shanghais food and when I called the restaurant at 2, I was told they got a full house. Calls were made to other Shanghais restaurants in TST and they were all fully booked, I decided to try my luck for walk-in.Got there at 7 and they could offer me a table immediately. Anyway, it's not what I'd expect as they position them as fine dining.

We ordered 2 soups, 1 appetizer, 1 noodle and 2 entrees. For the soups, my friend said it was one of the worst hot & sour soup he has ever had. It tasted funny and if you're a big fan of classic hot and sour soup, you may give it a skip. My soup was the pickled vegetable with egg white and shredded fish. It was only mediocre since they made it too gluey. The pickled veggie was also too light in terms of the flavouring.

We had a marinated common carp in wine. The texture of the meat was somewhat like preserved fish but the wine did smell good.

For the entrees, we had a tofu dumpling. They basically used the tofu as the dumpling skin. It's also 1 of the best dishes we ordered for the nite. Light but refreshing. We also ordered a sauteed shredded fish with bean sprouts and salted egg yolk, the closest resemblance of "golden shrimps", something I wanna have so much. The bean sprouts should be a nice balance but they just put in too much and made the taste of salted egg yolks way too weak.

After so many times of disappointment, we just decided to skip the dessert....

P.S. The waiters and waitresses at there have no knowledge of the menu. I asked about what soups they offer and they couldn't even give me an answer. They also have poor listening skill. What a let down for a "fine dining" restaurant.

本人第一次寫食評,這店是新開環境唔錯可以望見維港,因登廣告全版吸引我而且食滿$400可以減$100,咁啱我哋煩緊聚會食啲乜,所以去試試新嘢,豆腐餃子、酥皮鴨、鐡板蝦球好ok,由其酥皮鴨一啲都唔肥膩,仲好過一般食北方菜舖片皮鴨,千其唔好食嗰個煲仔飯(唔記得叫乜名),非常普通到係唔低食,成百幾蚊。
