because of my bf birthday, finally we went to Culture Shock!!!booked the table at 7,not really full,I think because of weekday!
about the food
we order one caesar salad, oyster and a pasta with seafood...the salad is not good for us,because too much dressing, and the dressing is a little bit different with the others, but I can't tell what's the different;oyster is ok with this price, but need to wait for a long time,it came later than the pasta, and we just think how come the pasta with come before the starter!?but anyway, the pasta is alright!seafood is enough...then we had a chocolate pudding...This one is the best part of our dinner!!!but need to wait for a long time as well...
about the service
when we enter the shop, there is a hostess said"welcome,do you have any reservations??"(but not in english)it is the warmest greeting I have got from any restaurant, even in hotel's restaurant! I don't think there are many restaurants doing the same thing now!the service is just ok for us,the restaurant wasn't very full, but 5-6 servers, but they will not refill the water unless when ask,and they always stick together in the bar area and talk very loud and laugh very loud as well,so we have to rise our hands few times then they got us,that's bad, that's really bad...even you are not busy, but you can't play or talk loudly in front of the guests!and I think they should tell the guest some food need to wait for a while!may be some of them are new, may be!
overall
the food is excellent especially the dessert! service is so-so,the food timing is bad,no way the starter later than the pasta!but the hostess is very nice!!!say goodbye to us as well when we left!!the boss is quite friendly as well, always smile to guest(actually we just guess he is the boss because he didn't wear any uniform)
