After a little bit of shopping in Tsuen Wan yesterday, we went to Lo Tak Court, which is an area full of different kinds of restaurants. After a little bit of shopping in Tsuen Wan yesterday, we went to Lo Tak Court, which is an area full of different kinds of restaurants. Finally, we chose a small Indian restaurant although its location is not easy to be spotted. When we entered, it was almost 9pm and there were only 2 guests. Therefore, we immediately got seated. The staff was very welcoming. After taking a look at the menu, we ordered Indian Curry Fish (With rice and paratha),Satay Skewers (Including chicken, beef and pork), and 2 Mango Lassi. The overall dining experience gav e us some surprise. The Indian delicacy was authentic. The satay skewers were also good as they were complemented with a special sauce, which made the dish different from Thai skewers. The Mango Lassi gave us a fresh feeling, it was neither too sweety nor too sour. The only improvement that can be made is the portion of curry. It would be even better if the portion of curry was bigger.
CHICKEN MARINATED IN MIDDLE EASTERN STYLE WRAPPED IN BREAD WITH FRESH LETTUCE,CUCUMVER & TOMATOES WITH THEIR SPECIAL DRESSING當小食而已....
Visited this restaurant after reading so many great reviews! I love curry and it's hard to find a good place in HK that does a decent one.The seating was slightly uncomfortable as it was a small restaurant but luckily, we went earlier so my bf and I could take up a 4person table. Visited this restaurant after reading so many great reviews! I love curry and it's hard to find a good place in HK that does a decent one.
The seating was slightly uncomfortable as it was a small restaurant but luckily, we went earlier so my bf and I could take up a 4person table.
We ordered a chicken vindaloo and a beef kebab. We wanted naan but they were out of stock!
Anyways, the beef kebab was a bit of a hit and miss. We both had half a side each however my bf got the chewy beef side and my side was quite tender! Maybe we should've gone with the chicken tikka...
The curry was lovely however it wasn't amazing. The rice that came with the curry was typical wet, sticky Chinese rice which didn't really go well with the vindaloo. Would've been nice to have basmati and pilau rice! (Too picky? 😕) We also had paratha(?) if that's how you spell it. It was very good! Overall, it was an okay experience - I'm not dying to go back but I wouldn't say no if I was craving curry..
