夜晚的婚宴選在康得思 Cordis, Hong Kong (前朗豪酒店) 七樓的宴會廳舉行,新人選地非常明智,因為地點既方便新界九龍人,場地還十分高貴得體,稍加佈置即成難忘的夢幻婚禮!除了美美的Reception入口位,特別喜歡中間通道,一邊擺滿新人的美美婚照Poster,另一邊則是超特大的電子相架,不斷播放一對璧人的電子婚照,感覺極其唯美~約六時左右,一對新人先在律師及一眾親友見證下,進行證婚儀式;去到晚宴時段,始終樓下明閣就是米芝蓮二星餐廳,菜式也特別豐富:首先是金陵乳豬全體 Barbecued Whole Suckling Pig 用上靚靚芝麻皮乳豬,肥瘦均勻,如果熱點就完美了! 榆耳羊肚菌炒玉帶 Sauteed Scallop with Morel and Elm Fugus,甜魔媽媽愛吃菌,所以覺得這菜式超讚,加上所用帶子也鮮嫩美味,感覺更稱心~ 接著是超高水準的 肥炸香茜窩貼大明蝦 Deep Fried Shrimp Toast with Coriander,炸功太高明了,完全是超香脆鬆化、丁點不油,配上鮮爽的大蝦,完全是星級出品! 窩貼明蝦雖然好吃,但始終是邪惡之物,之後再來清素中見鮮美的 濃湯瑤柱花膠絲伴翡翠 Braised Seasonal Vegetable with Shredded Fish Maw and Conpoy in Supreme Soup 就剛好! 還有養顏滋補的 松茸竹笙燉燕窩 Double Boiled Bird's Nest with Matsutake and Bamboo Pith,以燕窩取代魚翅,得體得來又環保,值得讚揚及支持啊! 菜式份量相當豐富,去到 翡翠原隻湯鮑 Braised Whole Abalone with Vegetable 我已經很飽了... 完成鮮彈的鮑魚後,很少有地吃剩了一半的生菜...  但之後也忍不住吃光了 薑蔥頭抽蒸老虎斑 Steamed Tiger Garoupa with Spring Onion and Ginger,因為成品實在嫩滑鮮美!不吃對不起自己! 蒜香炸子雞 Deep Fried Chicken with Garlic 是唯一失色的作品,因為成品實在太乾身!  押尾的 窩燒滋補竹絲雞炒飯 Fried Rice Sizzler with Shredded Silkie Chicken, Crispy Conpoy and Shao Xing Wine,味道也很好而且特別補身,很希望新婚子很快就再吃得上...!!! 再來 上湯摩利菌鮮蝦雲吞 Shrimp and Morel Dumpling in Supreme Soup 又用上我喜歡的摩利菌,因此又給我...!!! 最後的 甜蜜二重奏 Sweet Duet 除了熱暖美味荔芋焗西米布甸,還有心型香脆馬卡龍、脆口朱古力三兄弟,以及清甜士多啤梨,我可是冒著爆裙的危機,將它們全部清光的...!!! 最後的 合時鮮果盤 Fresh Fruit Platter 真的沒法清碟啦,除了太飽,也是因為差不多時間收捨離開~ 幸福滿足的一晚,再度祝願一對新人百年好合、三年抱兩!  最後,至於萬眾期待的姊妹裙照,並不在食評中分享了;有興趣就再找我網誌(元旦日出文的)慢慢欣賞吧~別吃飽來看哦! 繼續閱讀

呢間嘢真係幾好食啲大蝦又新鮮又有咬口又大隻冇腥味我唔知佢用咩醬連洋蔥都又甜又juicy而家去飮有新嘢食焗田螺熱辣辣又好味最鍾意食一pat pat入面有螺肉碎Service ok la俾人情條氣都順啲 繼續閱讀

每次去酒店大多都因為公司關係,今次來朗豪酒店嘆個下茶,其實我也來過幾次,每次都覺得侍應既態度可以改荷下,並唔係話佢無禮貌,但整個態度給人既感覺係阻住佢收工!這個英式下午茶拼盤賣相不錯,由其這個煙三文魚包,麵包鬆軟,加上少少配菜咬落口感有層次。甜品來說蛋糕仔還算OK,但馬卡龍感覺好似放左好耐,D皮都脆晒,我試過買左馬卡龍返屋企放左1星期先拎出黎就係呢種口感,所以唔建議多食,很少可的蛋糕獲勝。 繼續閱讀

 嘩 ﹗睇個 menu 今晚都好豐富、好正播 ﹗但同成班食肉獸老友一齊坐,真係手快有手慢無呀 ﹗食左先講 ﹗龍鳳呈祥脆金豬、油泡明蝦球、黃金花姿球、北菇竹笙扒翡翠、紅燒竹笙蟹肉翅、翡翠鮮鮑片、清蒸大青斑、醬油黃金雞、福建炒絲苗、蝦籽鮮雜菌伊麵、蜜運紅蓮海底椰、濃情蜜意雙美點。龍鳳呈祥脆金豬 barbecued whole suckling pig ﹗嘩哈哈,好名呢 ﹗隻豬真係好靚,食落不肥不膩,燒既火侯剛剛好,皮脆肉嫩,外皮咬落香口脆卜卜,下層肉質棉滑,味道甘香非常,賣相仲好吸引添 ﹗真係唔好意思,實在太好食 ﹗我要連食四五舊先夠喉,而且我最愛食豬仔腳,肉質特別有咬口又彈牙,軟骨脆卜卜。大家咁 friend 無緊要啦,搶呀 ﹗油泡明蝦球 sauteed prawn with vegetable,好巨形既蝦球呀 ﹗囍宴上真係好少見會咁大隻、咁足料,應該係額外加碼啦,多謝晒呀騰尼 ﹗約 4cm 既大蝦碌非常鮮甜又爽口,靚海鮮唔需要花巧啦 ﹗唔似某些酒樓用重鹽乸完再啤水,味道過咸、咬落索索聲,假彈牙。蜜糖豆好好食,鮮嫩爽口又帶甜。整碟既配搭同調都非常清爽,Good ﹗黃金花姿球 deep fried minced squid ball,即炸熱辣辣 ﹗無話一早炸定放到凍晒先上枱。頂,真係太好食喇 ﹗我可唔可以食多兩粒呀?外層炸香口勁鬆化,墨魚膠鮮味又彈牙,配上浙醋好醒胃,堅滿意啊 ﹗突然我腦海中閃過街邊炸魚蛋,味道真係好似,呵呵呵 ﹗其實我比較鍾意食炸蟹鉗呢,蝦膠撈埋鮮蟹肉一齊炸,好味道 ﹗北菇竹笙扒翡翠 braised seasonal vegetable with black mushroom and bamboo pith。食左道濃味菜,突然黎碟咁清淡既,味蕾暫未能習慣到呢 ﹗狂隊幾杯濃茶,清清口腔再認真試試味先。幾有創意喎,用鬼佬新鮮沙律豆苗墊底,撈埋個高湯芡一齊食,爽口清新又多汁,感覺幾有趣。冬菇滑溜彈牙菇味濃,竹笙夠爽口,滿意滿意。話咁快又到中場食翅喇 ﹗12 位來至五湖四海即食家們依然氣勢如洪,沒半點鬆懈 ﹗碗碗吉、碟碟清,勁呀 ﹗紅燒竹笙蟹肉翅 braised shark's fin soup with crabmeat and bamboo pith。倒完 12 碗仲有約 1 碗剩喎,大家十分禮讓喎,我梗係唔客氣啦 ﹗蝕底啲,交比我處理啦 ﹗騰尼我要食天九翅呀,唔要紅燒翅呀,呵呵呵。高湯調得厚落適中,色澤鮮明通透夠吸引,味道香甜濃郁又唔會濁,食落都有少少翅針咬下,加點浙醋點綴一下,味道一流。翡翠鮮鮑片 braised sliced abalone with seasonal vegetable,睇個樣應該都係南非鮑片喇,不過味道咁咸既?質感滑溜嚥韌。而鮑汁生菜就非常美味噃,爽甜多汁,大受歡迎,各食家不停地添食呀 ﹗醬油黃金雞 deep fried crispy chicken marinated with soy sauce,皮脆肉嫩 ﹗薄薄外皮炸到脆卜卜又香口,雞肉嫩滑 juicy,好好味。上一道菜清蒸大青斑轉眼已蒸發左喇 ﹗連相都無機會影,剩返一堆骨頭乍,可以想象有幾好食呢 ﹗魚頭同面珠登都係比我掠奪左啦,哈哈 ﹗嫩滑膠口又有肉食,正呀 ﹗魚肚必食啦,又腍又滑,美味 ﹗福建炒絲苗 fried rice in Fukien style,嘩 ﹗有無咁好食呀?真係炒得堅香啊 ﹗飯香加蛋香,炒得乾爽,飲粒嚥韌彈牙,鑊氣又夠,好少囍宴最尾既炒飯咁靚,配埋濃郁肉汁芡,好好味 ﹗我都要食返兩碗先。蝦籽鮮雜菌伊麵 braised 3-fu noodle with assorted mushroom and shrimp roe,繼超水準福建炒飯後,又一傑作 ﹗依個伊麵炒得滿意,質地彈牙,無話又腍又濕。加上蝦籽同吃,味道非常甘香濃郁,夾雜住淡淡什菌味道 ﹗雖然味道高得有點濃,但真係幾好食架喎 ﹗蜜運紅蓮海底椰 double boiled red date, lily bulb and sea coconut in sweet soup,甜品我一向都麻麻地,但因為依餐真係非常滿意,所以要黎個完美句號。好采糖水不太甜,清潤,幾好。好富豐又美味既一餐 ﹗仲飲左好多紅酒呢 ﹗12 個傻既坐埋一枱,鬼殺咁嘈 ﹗失禮晒。 繼續閱讀

I was here for a coworker's wedding. Didn't take photos that night because I was spent my evening doing selfies with coworkers instead.The set up of the place was spacious and very grand. No table was blocked from the view of the stage so we could see the bride and groom. Prior to the banquet starting, there was a mini bar of dim sum for refreshments. However, as there were a number of guests, the dim sum was all gone by the time I arrived and was not refilled. This was noted by a number of my coworkers who arrived early.Food was the usual banquet style meals. The servers showed us the dish, then took it away to be split upon our individual plates somewhere in a corner of the room before being placed before us.First up was the roast pork. It arrived in a long line of servers while playing a song from The Beatles. That was different as usually they play some Chinese banquet song but the Beatles was a strange change of pace. Pork skin was very crispy and there was a nice layer of meat to chew on. The meat was tasty.Second was a deep fried shrimp ball coated with salty egg yolk. This was surprisingly good. The shrimp meat was springy. The coating of egg yolk wasn't overly salty.Third was mixed colored capsicons with razer back clams. This was fabulous. The capsicons were sweet. The razer back clams were intense in flavor.Fourth was choy sum with braised goose foot. The foot was braised to just fall off the bone. The vegetable was still crunchy and not soggy. The sauce was flavorful.Fifth was fish maw soup. Texture was not overly gluey. Taste was alright. A lot of fish maw was in my bowl.Sixth was steamed garoupa. The fish was over steamed but at least really sweet.Seventh was fried chicken. Chicken was moist and not bland.Eighth was a steamed sticky rice wrapped in bamboo leaf and topped with a taro sauce. The sauce was good and just not enough so when I ran out, the rice was just bland.We were also given a bowl of noodles which was alright. Not much flavor.Dessert was a sweet pumpkin soup with rice and barley along with sliced fruit and Chinese pastries. I didn't have a pastry but the pumpkin soup was really sweet. I wasn't much of a fan.All in all, the food was well done. Portions were just right in that I could actually eat everything and still felt not overly full. Service was amazing as they cleared plates immediately upon finishing. As this was the evening of the Mong Gok protestors vs police riots outside, the staff helped all guests find a way to leave in as safe a mode as possible. They took the time to find which MTR exits were still in service and which streets to avoid the pepper spray.I've heard good things about the hotel's Chinese restaurant so after this banquet meal, I would definiitely want to return to try the actual menu. 繼續閱讀
