每次去到都有新驚喜,一家四口去食晚飯,可能因為早去唔需要等位。今次食咗:南瓜牛油果海胆凍湯 - 第一次飲凍湯, 唔知咩感覺, 但呢個湯好有層次, 一啖放落口就先有南瓜味之後就牛油果味。黑松露鵝肝雲吞 - 好濃烈嘅鵝肝味, 唔會出面嗰啲完成食唔出,啲蘑菇湯比亞女飲哂!葡式肥仔炒飯 - 我一家每次都叫因為2人份量好夠食, 有甜甜酸酸好醒胃, 不知不覺食多咗都唔覺。香蒜燒春雞(一隻) - 皮好脆,肉一啲都唔乾,最緊要係冇骨啖啖肉(當然除咗翼名脾部分) 葡式香煎盲鰽魚 - 皮脆肉滑,唔腥。加埋啲薯蓉一流。炒椰菜 - 爽脆,唔油。服務不錯, 侍應好有禮貌。食唔哂仲可以打包返去當午餐!

A new restaurant in town, serving portuguese food, so we had to try.

First thing we noticed that the list of mains is short, very short, some 7 or 8 choices only.

we ordered a bottle of wine, shared some fried squid, my girlfriend had pan fried barramundi, while I decided to try the surf and turf. for lack of any choice of meat other than chicken and oxtail.

First of all, the wine, it took a long time before it finally arrived, my girlfriend spotted them opening the bottle inside, tasting it, and after a long time, finally served it without letting us try it first.
Now we're fine with accepting the bottle before trying it, we never got served a bad wine, but I would like to receive the bottle unopened and I certainly don't expect the staff drinking it.

The food: The squid was ok, but the serving was tiny. The Barramundi was ok, but not great.
My surf and turf however was disappointing.  The king prawn was large, but very very dry and didn't taste that well,  the steak was extremely disappointing. The staff didn't ask how I would like the steak although it was medium, which was ok. However, it was completely flavourless. The sauce it came with didn't help much either. Furthermore it was a tiny piece and the meal as a whole just wasn't enough. For 300 HKD plus I expected something more from the surf and turf.

We have never had any bad experiences in Sai Kung so far, this is the first time we ate out and were disappointed. We will certainly not come back. Luckily there are many other restaurants out there that serve far better food, offer better service and charge far less.

I found out about this new restaurant from a fast food owner in Sai Kung so decided to check it out.It is opened by a local actor called Brian Wong with chefs from Ireland and Portugal, which explains why they have my favourite English food on the menu.They offer All day breakfasts and Portuguese snacks and on the second floor they serve Mediterranean food which I am looking forward to because the one and only Mediterranean restaurant Revolution Gallery Cafe has closed down.I was really surprise

They offer All day breakfasts and Portuguese snacks and on the second floor they serve Mediterranean food which I am looking forward to because the one and only Mediterranean restaurant Revolution Gallery Cafe has closed down.

I was really surprised with the prices because they were really affordable.
Grilled ham and cheese toast is only $48, English breakfast is really a good deal for $98 and if your looking for something light you can get beans on toast for $30.
For Portuguese flair I have got my eyes on the Bacalhau fish croquettes which only cost $45.

Serradura is a layered chilled dessert made up of a sweetened, vanilla whipped cream and crushed biscuits.
It was really nice because it was not too sweet and the layers were light and silky balanced by the biscuit crumbs which were finely crushed.
