Best Burgers yet In Hong Kong

Who doesn't love a good burger? My sister showed me pictures of juicy burgers from The Butcher's Club on instragram, so when buddy G suggested to come for lunch I couldn't resist. Environment & Hygiene:Although it was approaching 2pm, it will still very crowded there. However, it was a fun place to be at. You could see the chefs having fun in the kitchen, enjoying what they're doing. The decor was simple, but cool.  Environment & Hygiene:
Although it was approaching 2pm, it will still very crowded there. However, it was a fun place to be at. You could see the chefs having fun in the kitchen, enjoying what they're doing. The decor was simple, but cool. It is exactly what I like.

Not much service involved, but staff were friendly.

Taste & Value:
My friend and I didn't learn about the secret menu until we ordered. Oh well, it just means that we would have to go again.

 Without the secret menu, there is only the one Burger($100) to choose. A very big juicy patty in between a lightly toasted Scotish Bap with honey glazed bacon, metled cheese and a sceret sauce. Now, you tell me, how could this not be good.
 The bread was soft, the beef was fantastic, the cheese was wondeful, the sceret sauce was amazing; I just can't think of one thing that isn't to be liked about this burger.

 Duck Fat Fries ($20) These fries are fried 3 times, which explains the crunchiness and deliciousness of them. They were very good!

 Final Verdict:
The burger were truly amazing. Although kinda pricey, you get what you pay for. I can't wait to go again! 
题外话/补充资料： Scanning the QR code on their menu leads you to their secret menu, which includes some other burgers.

    After a long, hot day at the beach we decided to hit up this burger joint I'd heard buzzings about.The menu is relatively simple, though I want to rant for a moment about that. Apparently there's a ""secret" "menu"" (yes, all those scare quotes are deliberate). It's the sort of thing that isn't a secret at all, and isn't supposed to be, it's just supposed to make trendy people feel good and let them show off about all the """secrets""" they know. Anyway, it angers me. I'm certainly not going to play the *wink* *wink* this-is-a-secret-and-I'm-so-cool game, because it's not cool and I have dignity. But someone in line after me ordered some spicy burger thing that wasn't on the menu and I was like ***grrrr!*** I want spicy. Why can't they just have a normal menu, with all their menu items on it, y'know, like a grown-up restaurant for grown-ups? /rant

     Also, if you're wondering, "beer" on the menu means PBR. Can't say that's 100% truth-in-advertizing, but it does fit with the childish decade-late hipsterness of the place.

     OK, now I'll stop complaining. The burgers are awesome. My wife and I both thought they were the best we'd had in HK. Our dining companion said he preferred the burger at FAB (French American Bistro). I agree that that's a good burger, but I stand by this one.

    The burger comes with: bacon, cheese, tomato, pickles, and ketchup. I saw someone else with lettuce, but apparently that's a """""secret""""" and you can only get it if you look up the secret on the internet and say the super-stupid-secret code-word. I'd've liked lettuce, but again, dignity.

    You don't get a choice for how they're cooked, but they're cooked perfectly. The patty is big and meaty and juicy. The bun is exceptionally good. Like, if you just took a hamburger bun and... made it better. Like, by a lot. I wish there were mustard and I wish I got whatever top-secret spicy whatever they had, but it was still excellent. A-

     This pile of fries is two orders, so you don't get that much fries. They are heavy and delicious though. I don't know what the duck fat in particular does, but the fries have a nice crisp exterior and are are nice and fluffy inside. I loved them A+.

    At the end of the day, I loved the food. I thought it totally blew Beef & Liberty out of the water, and the only thing I didn't like was the stupid hipster secret menu. But I will forgive even that obnoxiousness and say: eat here.

      記得三月到過 HKFanzone 活動，食物攤中有間賣牛肉漢堡的 The Butchers Club，引起了我的注意。那時候啊，還沒有聽說過這店，也沒有深入認識及品嚐過乾式熟成牛肉 (Dry-Aged Beef)，看著那雖然吸引，但價值港幣 $100 的小型漢堡包，思前想後之下，最後放棄了。現在回想起來真是走寶…早知道 Butchers Club Deli 私房菜本店設立於黃竹坑，地方有點遠，很令人卻步…偶然間，看到它 Facebook 專頁宣佈將於五月份在（我經常出沒的）灣仔開店，超興奮又期待～後來前往兩次也還沒裝修好，似乎要延遲開業…終於等到近日從朋友中得知，灣仔店開業了，當然我就急不及待立即來試試啦！店舖距離灣仔地鐵站頗遠，要步行多條街。剛走到蘭杜街街口，已聞到陣陣燒牛肉的油脂香，吸引非常！店面不算大，全場只有二十多個座位，據說平時人客非常多，我們平日晚上九時多來到，則有少量空位。開放式廚房就在店面一角，不斷滲出煎牛扒的油香味～肚子好餓丫！叫得漢堡專賣店，主餐單很簡單只有三樣食物：乾式熟成牛肉 (Dry-Aged Beef) 漢堡、鴨油炸薯條及雪糕梳打。留意到底下的 QR Cod

       香噴噴的漢堡送上來啦，看起來已經很吸引，好像內藏超多肉汁要爆發出來一樣！

      老實說，港幣 $100 一個漢堡包並不便宜，而且份量不是很大。但我可以告訴你，是絕對值得一試。在外面很多漢堡包店都在賣 $78-88 的時候，寧可多付十幾塊錢去吃更加高質更美味（得多）的是不是？

      還有是外面很多漢堡包就是一味的高身，要切開逐層分開來吃的話，那好像失去了漢堡包的原意吧？
      Butchers Club 的漢堡包大小和高度剛剛好，一啖咬下去可以吃到全部材料，保留味道和口感的層次。
      最重要的，是牛肉真的很出色！

       麵包很香，鬆軟彈牙又帶煙韌，內層烘過很香脆。牛肉一咬下去有極度濃厚的牛肉味，好吃到不得了！
      據說材料用上三個不同部位的牛肉，包括：牛肩 (Chuck)、牛腩 (Briskey) 和牛後腿肉 (Rump)，
      充滿極多肉汁，適量油脂，咬下去的口感鬆化而又隱約地感覺到筋肉相連，就像在吃牛扒一樣！
      裡面再夾了煎成香脆的煙肉、蕃茄、酸瓜、洋蔥醬和白車打芝士，吃完一個之後真想再叫一個…
      這裡使用的是自家熟成 45 天的牛肉，難怪吃下去覺得牛肉特別香濃，特別惹味，帶焦香但仍軟嫩非常。

       門外放置單車作為裝飾，聽說這車架設計已有 60 年歷史，需時八個月才能製成，以前在英國常被用來送貨。這裡環境和食物都充滿外國的風味，喜愛吃牛肉的你，又會否如我一樣，來這裡尋覓到最適合自己的最愛？

Burger, french fries cooked in duck fat, and various sodas and beer.The burger itself, we saw, was freshly ground. It was cooked well enough with that slight charcoal flavor. The bread and sauce was nothing special. For HKD 100 per burger I expected something more.The fries were not worth it.         have read about this butcher's place on magazine several times (their aberdeen store) but never able to spare time to go there. To my surprise, they have opened up a branch burger shop in wanchai and so it is a `must` visit to burger fan like me in particular this shop is so close to my office.we arrived at 8pm and this place was already full house. we were fortunately to sit near the bar table and get to watch the chef preparing the burger.it took about 10 minutes for our burgers and fries arri

        it took about 10 minutes for our burgers and fries arrived. The burger looked very delicious to us in particular the buns were not the traditional ones with sesame on top. As we picked up the burgers, we were kind of surprise that the buns were only at room temperature. The meat patties were cooked to medium well that keeps the burger really juicy. Besides that the buns were at room temperature, everything including the atmosphere were excellent.

        If theburgers were not charged for $100, i will definitely come more frequently.

With offerings from CaliBurger, Burger King, Ted’s Lookout, Beef & Liberty and also now here at Butchers Club Burger – the stakes are high and you never know who will come out as the ultimate winner!  We were here to find out.            Double Happiness -  $160
          Double Dry-Aged Australian beef patties,  with double cheese,  and 2 Grilled Cheese sandwiches holding it all.   This was so evil like in recipe but it was definitely crazy.   We could only finish half each.    It's a bit greasy so I actually prefer the On-Menu item a bit more..   ~  7.5/10

           Dry-Aged Australian Beef Burger – $100
          It is served with a slightly spicy mayo sauce and cheese, in a really good Damper bun, which is slightly Aussie in feel. The beef patty was flavorful and cooked properly pink, I actually think this was more oily than the patty at Beef & Liberty - of which I prefer, but some others might not? Really lovely burger definitely and the bacon slices were more thicker than the norm ~ 8/10

          The fries flavour was good, I think it can be more crispier on some potato strands.  The 2nd night's version was better,  but still lacking a bit of seasoning.   I liked the Butcher's Club Deli side one better.. ~ 7/10

          Cooked well, and Dry-Aged beef has flavour, texture was also not too overly minced.
          Hong Kong is finally experiencing some International standard burgers!
