Soho Spice (已結業)

因為有張Super Monday card, 所以去左Soho食啲不時唔會去嘅餐廳。今次係第2次用Super Monday card 去食soho 嘅餐廳，上次間餐廳已經熱嫁啦，今次呢間更熱，感覺仲慘過食大排檔，你可想而知，一路食就一路滴汗。諗住嗌個椰青消消熱。係就係原個椰青上，但同泰國飲嘅冰凍椰青簡直2回事，我諗佢個椰青應該係放室溫，所以一啲都唔凍=_= 食物方面，無大驚喜。最好食係個虎蝦，啲汁都好好味，有碗白飯送就正啦。

Soho Spice has become one of the most popular Thai restaurants in Soho, especially with the SuperMonday offer. The décor features exotic design and it has an open area within the restaurant. 一段關係，最可悲的是共處一室，但相對無言。各有各的天空，卻每天沒溝通地慣性生活，很可憐。為何有感而發？因為最近幫襯了中環的泰菜「Soho Spice」，試了幾款菜式，共通的問題是食材之間像沒有發生任何關係，味道各有各，像是被迫放在一起似的，同樣很可憐。午市套餐賣 $68-$88，以蘇豪來說算很便宜。環境以暗紅色為主，有室內有戶外，襯上木檯及藤椅，窗明几淨。頭盤：扎肉沙律 / 青木瓜沙律先上的沙律，扎肉頗乾，沒關係地放在蔬菜上，感覺怪異。木瓜沙律還好，面上加了蝦乾及檸檬汁，酸酸辣辣算醒胃。冬蔭功海鮮湯河湯底過份地甜 (不是鮮甜，是 sugar 的甜)；完全欠辣欠酸。蝦與尤魚沒有味道，白雪雪，又是被迫放在河粉上似的。泰式牛肉炒飯這個我沒有試，但友人覺得味道同樣是非常之「甜」；加上炒得太濕淋，似湯飯多些。喇沙湯河叻沙的湯底較香，但也是偏甜，奇怪奇怪。沒啥感覺的關係，本少爺寧願不要。同樣，這食肆我也沒有意慾再來了。

jun 10, 11, 4人來dinner,叫咗 : 1) pomelo with crispy shallots (hk$62)-酸酸甜甜,1d都唔辣-柚子多,又juicy,幾好味 2) seafood tom yum soup (hk$62)-都喺唔多覺得辣,我當然歡迎,但就令友人們有點失望-整體味濃,酸味ok,都幾惹味3) vegetable in green coconut curry with pea shoots, crispy tofu and shallots (hk$98)-估唔到綠咖喱偏甜,我食都唔多覺得辣,咖喱嘅香度ok啦-咁多咖喱汁,送飯就啱晒 4) grilled lemongrass chicken in yellow curry with eggplant and baked potatoes (hk$142)-也是偏甜嘅咖喱,只喺比綠咖喱辣多些少而已-我試咗薯仔,喺細size嘅新薯,沒有烚到好腍,基本上都入唔到味 5) pad thai noodles with prawns and squid (hk$82)-炒得比較"立"口,不知喺油份重定濕咗些少-

It was fortunate that we made a booking even though it was just a normal Tuesday night. The place was fairly full by 8pm. Dim lighting in the restaurant and there was an open roof area at the back where we sat.Service was fine and it wasn't pricey. The salads were quite nice as well. Downside was the main hot dishes. Most were quite flavourless especially the Pat thai. Seafood wasn't good neither.

7/8/2010 (星期六)星期六的下午，放工後來到蘇豪區食午飯，這一帶有很多不同種類菜式的選擇，我叫咗Set Lunch試下。蝦乾金柚沙律： 金柚新鮮而且幾甜，金柚上面鋪上了唔少蝦乾、辣椒籽等，加了檸檬汁，酸酸辣辣非常醒胃。叻沙： 叻沙的湯底很香，有蝦和鮮尤，不過份量唔多，女孩子食啱啱好。餐廳的環境唔錯，裝修幾靚。侍應的服務都幾好，經常加水。
