約在「Prime Hour」很主要是抵吃,尤其對於兩位非無肉不歡之人,$40包括迷你漢堡、酒精飲品各一,在星巴喝杯無味咖啡水亦差不多這樣價錢。鬼佬涼茶不夠凍,解不了辣,反面教材,下回再來吃扒,不僅要少鹽還要走辣汁。抵飲分享@http://foodxfile.blogspot.com/2010/09/prime-hourprime.html

I think the restaurant is slightly understaffed but considering the restaurant is fairly new, it's not something that is not excusable. When it comes to beef and value for money, this has got to be the place go. Had the rib-eye for $258 and the portion was much more generous than expected considering it's a steakhouse in HK. The desserts could use some upgrading in terms of size considering it's a steakhouse. The NY cheesecake is not so NY when it came to size.Anyhow, great overall and will revi

Had the rib-eye for $258 and the portion was much more generous than expected considering it's a steakhouse in HK.

The desserts could use some upgrading in terms of size considering it's a steakhouse. The NY cheesecake is not so NY when it came to size.

Anyhow, great overall and will revisit.

We saw the recommendation in the magazine, booked a table for two to try out the place last night. When we arrived, the hostess could not locate our reservation! I recalled I confirmed the booking details when I made the reservation but the person who took down our info still mis-spelled our last name.Maybe it was Sunday evening, there were quite a number of tables with children. Maybe it was Sunday evening, there were quite a number of tables with children. Furthermore, the tables were set quite close to each other, thus, quite noisy and spoiled the atmosphere.
It became more like a Pricy Family Restaurant.


From the article in the magazine, I understand that this should be a Higher-end Steakhouse. To our disappointment, the service was none of that standard. As, no recommendations were given by our server, I ordered Onion Soup and Grilled grouper fillet with roasted peppers and basil; my husband ordered Lobster Bisque and USDA Select tenderloin 8oz. 2 side dishes: Brococoli with hazelnuts and Fries were also ordered. The Server was unable to take our order properly and we had to repeat our orders again before he got them right.

The famous Cheese Popovers were served hot, but almost after we finished half of our soup!
I requested for a second round but it never came. However, the soups are quite tasty.

The main courses came and the appearances looked alright. However, my husband's tenderloin was cooked to "medium" instead of his request of "well-done". So, it was taken back to the Grill. My Grouper fillet was over-done - the meat was coarse and dry but the sauce tasted great. The tenderloin was juicy and tasty even though it is "well-done". We have to admit that they are good with steaks. The two side dishes were good as well. During the course of the meal, our server did not even came over to ask if we are happy with our food?! Being a professional steakhouse, they should certainly provided better service!

We did not try the dessert as we were quite annoyed with the noisy environment and our server. I believe we won't be going back for a second time. For the price they charge, there are certainly a lot better choices!

Caeser Salad with buttermilk fried chicken----雞肉炸得又乾又嚡,這個沙律的調味又是咸!但相比起主菜這已算是小兒科!
USDA Prime sirloin 14oz----向來吃牛扒只喜歡吃西冷,喜歡肉味較濃及較有咬口.對牛柳及肉眼的興趣不大.滿心歡起變失落無比!外層炭黑調味極咸,肉質比預期中硬,油香不足肉味不濃.
USDA Select sirloin 14oz----從外表看與Prime全無分別,一樣是外層炭黑調味極咸!只不過是多了一條大半寸厚的脂肪罷了,肉質分別不太大但索價比Prime平一半!
Grain fed Australian lamp chop"Scottaditi"----羊的羶味也抗不過咸味!上菜太快關係,還未顧及到分吃羊架,在不到十分鐘內油脂已因冷氣強勁而變成白色.
Pork loin schnitzel"Gypsy"style with peppers and paprika----侍應大力推薦炸雞胸說香脆嫩滑,當然不會容易上當!"香脆嫩滑"這四字與雞胸從不會扯上關係.但最後選的豬扒最終也是又乾又嚡及咸!咸!咸!
Grilled grouper fillet with roasted peppers and basil----石班肉又韌又嚡而味道又是只得一個字---咸.
Prime Burger----這個不是咸而是無味,漢堡扒乾身無肉汁,薯條不到五分鐘已變凍且出現油溢味.

早來了ニ十分鐘,被侍應領到一張桌子坐下,半小時後朋友到齊再被要求調到另一張細1/3的檯說原本的檯是7人檯.這張才是6人的!結果是上菜時不夠位置放食物.最後原先的"7人檯"只坐了4人,友人不岔向侍應詢問,回覆是:原本是訂7人但最後只來了4人,沒辦法!不知訂10位來2位會不會是一樣坐大檯呢?
吃第一份頭盤已即時反映食物極咸,侍應只解說是廚師新到一大堆廢話!企在旁邊的經理則採取不聞不問態度.
點菜時已要求食物分開慢上,結果還是一次過出現,不用十分鐘已被冷氣吹得全部變冰凍!
肉類的油脂不消一會已凝結成白色.
結賬時不查閱單據便差點順便請隣檯吃飯!
服務不知所謂、厨房出品不濟.空有良好環境,只是在浪費食材.

The Prime Steakhouse is by far one of the best steak houses that I have seen in HK. And here is why.My dinner consisted of:1) Spinach Salad w/ Bacon. Fresh with lots of spinach, some bacon and sauteed mushrooms. The sauce was a vinaigrette giving the salad a citrus flavor. Honestly, I only had the salad to prepare myself for the next part of the meal. 2) Prime Rib Eye 14oz. First off - Wow, the quality and flavor of the steak for the price they charge is unbelievable. My dinner consisted of:

2) Prime Rib Eye 14oz.
First off - Wow, the quality and flavor of the steak for the price they charge is unbelievable. Char grilled just right + high quality steak + balanced seasoning = The perfect steak. There is also a lower grade called "select" but I opted for the "prime" steak which they consider top notch. They weren't kidding. The waiter told me that some customers said that the steak was over seasoned, but I honestly think that the steak is so juicy, thick and tender that the seasoning penetrates the meat to give the steak flavor from top to bottom. Together with their famous cheese mash potatoes, this combination left me speechless.
3) Hot Souffle w/ Ice Cream
Dessert in my opinion was not why I came to this steakhouse but still a treat to enjoy. I didn't think their souffle had enough depth and the crust of the souffle was flat. Inside was too wet. This dessert did not stand out and given the choice I would have just had an ice cream.
Verdict:
- Must try for steak. I would sacrifice the appetizer, dessert and have the steak alone with side dishes.
- Could improve on the appetizer selection and dessert chef needs more training.
- Will definitely come back in the future to enjoy the perfect steak.

離結婚週年紀念旅行只剩一星期了,上週日夜晚本應留家,跑多幾個圈減肥才對;但因OR的戲票,又再出來到圓方,並再受到頂層Civic Garden的新開扒房引誘...OMG!  罷了,新餐廳環境+餐廳實在吸引,現又設$40HH優惠,栽在它手中也令人心甘情願,就當是為大日子例數預慶吧! 親切的店員主動出來招呼,並講解要享用HH優惠需要就要坐樓下,就試試吧! 與BLT屬同集團的Prime Steakhouse,就似園林版的BLT,其酒吧下層氣氛輕鬆悠閒,當晚除兩口子就只要一個鬼佬客;是晚二人就坐的位置景觀一流,又可以望到open kitchen,同時並有情調與趣味。吃過前身Olive樓上fine-dining格局,今回再感受樓下bar檯風光,感覺是各有所長呢! 食物上檯前,侍者為我倆送上餐巾,又擺上可愛迷人的牛牛餐墊。而是晚雖然二人只係HH輕食,但店方都照樣贈送餐前小食,就是美味的cheese popover,其出品比起BLT細小,但就一樣的外香脆、內微韌,又有有香濃芝味,很滿意! 二人另外輕食了下面幾款食品飲品: Basil mint mojito($40)-老公挑選的cocktail,我嫌

Basil mint mojito($40)-老公挑選的cocktail,我嫌羅勒味及薄荷味都太強勁,不合我意。若是正經吃扒的,來杯紅或白酒,應該會更對味吧!
 
Prime 8oz Prime Beef, Lettuce Tomatoes and Onion($88)-是晚老公的漢堡主菜,最特別是成品分成三部份上檯,連同一支賣相別致的ketchup,令人未食先興奮。第一部份由新鮮洋蔥、蕃茄片、生菜+烘過麵包組成,優質的漢堡基本功做妥;而第二部份的8oz漢堡牛肉,據稱是由dry aged USDA prime sirloin加肉碎絞成的,香濃有牛味,又果真做到medium rare要求,不錯;個人唯一不滿的,是第三部分的炸薯,雖脆但用的是幼身薯條。這漢堡,整體而言還是滿意的!
 
Manjari Chocolate Souffle with Cocoa Nib Ice Cream-需等15分鐘焗製,相信食評後悉心揀選,又滿心期待的出品,幸而一點沒有失望:由圖可見,朱古力疏乎厘件頭頗巨大,而且餡芯非常濃郁,熱暖半流的夾心極得人愛,比起Petrus更為美味! 再配上特別的可可豆雪糕,以及香脆可口的biscotti,味蕾得到大滿足! 其實這裡的甜品選擇幾吸引的,還想吃多兩款,但一想到8月水著照... 算了~~
