I've been here many times, and each time I enjoy my experience very much. The environment is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The air-conditioning was freezing for the first few times I was there, but they adjusted their air-conditioning, so the last two times I was there, it was just right.
I've tried their pasta, lemon cake, avocado and cheese sandwich, signature coffee, latte and camomile tea. I'd say the pasta and sandwich are not particularly outstanding -- for the avocado and cheese sandwich, I was really expecting cold slices of avocado, not avocado puree warmed from the melted cheese. Perhaps Ovo could consider serving their sandwich opened -- that way we cam enjoy a refreshing bite of cold avocado and warm cheese. My preference anyway.
In terms of variety, I'd say OVOCAFE needs more choices, if they want their customers to return for seconds or more. Just the other day, I wanted to go again for breakfast at 10:30am, but I wanted muffins and scones instead, and sadly, OVOCAFE has nothing like that. So in the end, I went to another place instead.
It would be nice to see OVOCAFE expand their menu and include more breakfast items. I'm sure the customers would love it. For pasta and lunch or dinner items, they can consider trying different sauces too, instead of the usual tomato or cream sauces. Pasta carrot, spinach, pesto or even just olive oil and simple herbs would be nice.
Still, I really love this vibrant place!
